Want to change the colour of my dials, I bought a Thor (Metal Monkey) steel dial set with a blue backing, but the light is quite dull and not very well dispersed. So.... I want to install LED to make them brighter but i have a few questions? 1. What LED's should I use, that is to say what brightness?? 1500mcd/4000mcd or I have seen 8000mcd neon blue LED's??? 2. Has anyone used the Ultraleds.co.uk direct bulb replacements. If so what was the result, any pictures? 3. How have people resolved the poor diffusion of light issue with LED's. I have see a diffusion material available from the metal monkey site. Anyone tried this?? Lots of questions as usual but any advise would be great. Before anyone says have you looked at hecklers site (I think it's his) then I have but it does not answer these question. Being a good sport I will photograph my dash conversion and the various results (Hopefully will be done over the christmas period) once finished. Ta

I am currently looking for a new set of rear tyres. I currently have Pirelli P Zero nero's 265/35 93Y 18'' on the rear. These have been great tyres and I would like to replace them. However, I was also thinking of increasing the depth to 45, the same as my fronts. If I do this will the ride be less harsh, currently running on Tein Flex with EDFC, and would I have to have the suspension adjusted??? I ask as I haven't a clue!!

I've only had one drift on a roadabout, however, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention and as previously mentioned I blasted the throttle. The rear end bounced slightly and the tail end wen't stupidly wide. luckily I remained composed and sorted it (that last bit was fictional, infact I crapped myself and magically regained control before the rearend struck the oncoming traffic!!) It was wet and I will never do it again..... What do people think of Pirelli PZero Nero's. I have these all round. They seem OK and I can get 265/35 18's for £130. is that good??

Replaced the Dash on my Supra a couple of weeks ago. Recently put it back together having labelled every plug, nut and bolt. All was fine before but now the car wont start!!! I think its the alarm. Prior to the instal the battery went (would this cause a problem) flat and now when the battery is connected (having been rechaged) all the electrics work, lights, horn etc.. however the alrm is dead and thus I can't start the car. I have plugged everything in as it was having labelled every connection. The alarm is a Clifford 950 with Intellistart. I have contacted the only approved dealer (According to the clifford website) remotely near me and they don't provide a mobile service. I have tried a few other places but the mention of Clifford and Supra sends them into cardiac failure. Most say at best bring it down so we can have a look. I would love to however the car wont start due to the immobiliser etc... Anyone any bright ideas? I have checked and then rechecked all the connections, but it looks like there is no power getting to the alarm, or its not earthing properly, but I can't be sure as I'm no auto electrician!!! The car is currently at my brothers in Bordon, Hants (He is a sparky and wont touch Clifford alarms, nor will any of his 2 other fitter firends). Anyone know a fitter or can help in any other way (Dispair, Dispair, Dispair)
