Hi all, Just wondered if there is a guide available for fitting an aftermarket bov. I have just bought one from importpimp (nic) and am pretty sure that I could fit it but wanted to have some kind of instructions with pictures to make sure I don't cock it up Any help would be appreciated, I've done a search but not really found anything helpful and the instructions that came with it are japanese... Theres nothing else I need to do when fitting one is there regarding setup of the engine, turbos etc? I assume its just a straight swap.... Ish Cheers all

Welcome to the best club on the net, im new to it too and I can't fault it so far. The advice has been spot on and every one is sooooo helpfull. This sounds like an interesting thread, just starting to 'play' with my TT too, just bought myself a HKS bov and am about to de-cat the beast, once I find out a little more about it. Cost etc. Keep us posted on what you go for, be good to see some piccies too.

Evening all, Just wanted to ask a quick question about exhausts for a GZ Auto TT, I have no preference to whether its loud, quiet, dustbin sized or is a skinny little thing but wondered what you lovely people thought was the best one out there. What do you have yourselves? I keep hearing about 'super dragger' and various other types but know nothing about the different manufacturers and what actually benefits the car. Last thing I wanna do is slap a RAGE backbox on it and strangle my engine down to a McDonalds carpark racing saxo kind of BHP It is currently absolutely stock apart from the wheels, it has both cats still in it and also wondered if it would be a better option to just remove them instead of messing about with an exhaust. Old Post but i'd really like to hear how people get off the line, Mines an auto TT too. Wasnt sure if it was a good idea to hold the foot brake whilst bringing the revs up. Any suggestions?

LOL LOL LOL I actually heard one of these at last years Ultimate Street Car at Santa Pod, a friend of a friend bought one for a hundred odd quid, got really excited about having a "proper phat sounding car" (kia picanto ?????). He fitted it in about ten mins. Should have seen his face drop when it "dumped" it sounded like Darth Vader without his asthma inhaler. Absolute crap.... Think i'll get one
