  1. I'd vote for this plan too.... sounds like your best shot. Or just pour petrol in the vents at the back
  2. I agree 100% you have helped show his family how many people were thinking of him and sometimes when all you have is grief to wake up to it can help to know your not going through it on your own. Rest in peace Karl, I never had the chance to meet you but you were well liked on the forum and didn't deserve to go so young. My thoughts are with your family and friends too, nothing anybody can say can make your pain go away, only time can help soften the blow of losing someone close to you. I would also like to mention the young guy who helped him when he was stuck in the car. That was a very brave thing to do and he is a hero for trying to help when many people would have panicked and made things worse. My deepest sympathy, Mark
  3. Is it in good condition? Got any piccies?
  4. Dont Aeros have/need some sort of strengthened chassis? To stop the car flexing under hard acceleration etc. Im sure they do, I guess thats why Targa tops were created... best of both worlds. Correct me if im wrong tho.

Chew an apple through a letter box you mean
  6. number two.... definitely! Then half hour later number one I get about 250 miles to a tank ish, (J spec tt). That seems like very few. I know she's juicy and ive got a bit of a heavy foot but wondered what anyone else has been getting.
  7. Lovely looking motor and I agree with every one else the truck picture is really cool. Welcome to the club !
  8. Mines stock and I only managed 14.7 Only got two runs in and it was my first time running the supe and wasn't sure how to launch an auto. Jamie gave me a few tips (thanks mate) which im gonna work on next time. Plus it took the 350Z i was up against so long to stage that i had pretty much fallen asleep by the time the tree ping'd down. Didn't want to sit on the 'power braking' thing for too long so let off. The instant the bloody 'Z' had staged the lights dropped and i was left dragging my arse of the line from idle. Grrrrr The next run the car next to me was arsing about in the water box when I was staging then just as he was rolling forward to stage the bleeding lights went green and I had to go... Complete excuses tho I know, but I was a little dissappointed with the time. I'll be back a couple of times then its USC time again Nice to meet all of you too, hope to see you again sometime.
  9. Well impressed with your time matey, sick as a parrot too. Mine drove like a bloody n/a It wasn't all bad tho, was good to meet you all.
  10. I love them wheels mate, couldn't stop looking at them. Very tidy motor!
  11. I'll join you if thats ok with you. By Brentwood services do you mean the one just off the A12 on the junction before the M25 roundabout or the one BY the M25 roundabout by the new cafe (billy bunters or whatever its called) Let me know which one your meeting at and i'll see you there. Looking forward to it!
  12. Can meet you at stansted then if you like, you happy travelling to toddington to join the massive convoy?
  13. Just past luton on the M1 (about 11 o'clock on the m25 clock face) i think.
  14. 10 minutes laughing at the chavved up, carbon fibre nightmares, 3 hours staring at the fluff, maybe a hotdog then home. 60 odd quid well spent!!! I've been going for years, me and my mates love having fun with the girls, making them pull funny faces for the camera rather than just doing the same old "yes im pretty innit" poses. My friend rich, looks like he just shat! Me ! Sporting quite an impressive beer belly I'll be there on the sunday!
  15. Not a bad idea that. It would avoid the M25 speed camera section. Everyone seems to be meeting at Toddington at about half seven and leaving there at about 8ish. What time you thinking of leaving Hertford?
  16. Decided that im definitely going to Toddington for the massive convoy, gonna be too big to miss. If anyone wants to convoy from Essex then i'll gladly meet people first, sorry if it sounds like i keep changing my mind but I keep reading the main post and it just sounds like such a rare chance to see that many soops on the motorway in one place. 50 odd supras all convoying together... its gonna look incredible Im from Braintree and will be travelling along the new A120 (the new bypass that leads past Stansted to the M11). If anyone wants to meet along the way then let met know.
  17. I reckon it would definitely be a sight to see. Im up for mini convoy from essex to toddington services, bit of an arse about face way to go but imagine the sight of all of us rolling up together.
  18. I was kinda waiting to see what everyone else was doing before I decided. I'll happily leave as early as necessary in order to meet people. Roughly what time do you think you'll be at Duxford?
  19. Superb! Love the one that says 'rear gunners drink lager shandys'
  20. Not sure what you have already but I can vouch for the HKS SSQV, its a good honest dumpvalve. Not stupidly loud but sneezes like hell when you give it lots of welly. I have a very limited experience of bovs I admit (SSQV being my first) but have been really impressed with it.
  21. Hi all Just a quick post to see who from essex is going along to the Jap Show at pod so we can arrange an Essex convoy! Im going as are a few others that I know of but I wanted to see who else would be up for meeting up first somewhere down here (stansted services maybe) then travelling up to either meet the other convoy or make our own mini convoy up there. Who's up for it? Anyone else got passes for the club stand? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=70791&highlight=japshow
  22. Im Essex, tell me when and where and i'll be there.
