I'd be interested to see what other people do too, I tend to 'blip' the throttle to stop the rear from locking up... trouble with that is that you kinda have to accelerate toward to corner! I miss the clutch too!

Fantastic paintwork and massive attention to detail, Give the guy points for effort. Not a massive fan of that rear end though, it looks like its still got more to come or something... oh yeah and the headlight 'covers'.....hmmmm nice Wicked looking car when alls said and done, not to everyones taste but surely everyone can appreciate the work that has gone into it to make it so unique. Error code 42 I hope. On mine I get the warning triangle and the orange engine warning light on the display to the rh side of the steering wheel. It happens when I boot it, have been playing with it lately trying to get it to go off by doing certain things to kind of narrow it down a bit. On a boiling hot day it never happens, no matter how hard I drive it. On a cool day or in the evenings the warnings seem to come on when the second turbo starts working. Thought it was only when i hammer the car but the other day i tried putting my foot about half way down and allowing it to climb up the rev counter slowly, three times the warnings came on just as the second turbo comes on. If I gun it hard and the warning lights come on then they stay on for ages, if I let it creep up slowly then the light comes on for only a few seconds. Its weird coz it doesn't always come on!!!!!! Anyone got any ideas???

Mine is still limited to 112mph does that mean that this fix won't work? What is it likely to be if not and how might I fix it? Don't fancy taking it to mr Ts for a nice £200 per hour mess about if its something I can have a play with.

Blimey Guys! Only left you alone for a day or so and you left all these posts!!! Thanks everyone for your thoughts, its given me a lot to go on. Still loving the Audi A3/A4 route purely because I love the way they look, although having said that I definitely agree with the opinions on the vee-dubs. Basically the same cars as the Audis but cheaper. The only drawback is that I really don't like the new golf shape, I loved the previous one but not its latest incarnation. Also im not old enough to drive a passat yet Saw a mazda 6 today in that lovely deep blue colour and really liked the look of it, gonna go have a test drive this weekend I think before I go round to Audi. The mitsi warrior does nothing for me at all, im in the signage industry and we deal alot with the construction industry, so a big ole 4x4 would make sense but my colleague (also a project manager) got one a few months back. I thought it drove like a shed, drank like Rab C Nesbitt and left me completely cold! Really dissappointing! Alfa 159 2.4 sounds good to me, never even crossed my mind to think of alfa's. They look great in black! Anyone got any idea how much they retail at? Thanks again all!

What sort of thing do you want to go for? Complete wrap of the car or a more viper stripe and some odds and sods approach?

Hi Everybody, Just wanted to see what you all thought: My boss has decided that it is about time I retired my old Renault Goona' company car and has asked me to start having a look for something to replace it. Unfortunately there are some requirements which limit my choices (which is where I get a bit stuck for ideas) These are: Four Door Preferably Diesel or at least economical Under £20k Must be a new car Must have a half decent boot, nothing too big tho. I dont want an estate and i'd rather not go for a passat or a mondeo. I was hoping that he might go for an Audi A3 or something similar but heard that you don't get a lot for your money. Any thoughts or recommendations welcome

Saw you last on Tuesday about 17:15 turning left toward Hatfield peveral from the boreham backroad. I must say it sounded lovely as you headed away from me, really like the note of your exhaust. Usually just weekends for me but sometimes if its sunny i leave the incredibly cheap and dull company car (Laguna ) and take the lady to work with me... some days it seems a shame to waste the sticky warm tarmac Seem to spend more time washing it than driving it tho, bloody black cars!

This is probably gonna sound daft but I assume that this will fit a stock exhaust, bit of a supra newbie im afraid but im learning... slowly. Im gonna change the exhaust asap but can't afford it right now, I currently still have both cats in and want them out for a bit of extra 'go'. Will I need to take the second one out to notice a difference or will having only the first one removed make a difference?
