I was just talking about getting another mini the other day!!! Completely stripped my last one and resprayed it myself and my housemate has one with a stage 5 A series engine in it so getting the engine sorted would be a piece of cake... Still getting over the christmas wallet haemorrhage but If youve still got this in the spring id definitely be interested mate, my cousin lives in Edinburgh so I could get him to pop and take a look at it. Wish I could take it off you now mate but the brakes and discs on the sup need replacing and its looking like 500 ish quid to get them done properly. Good luck with the sale though but drop me a message if you dont shift it in the next couple of months.

It b#stard well better not be!! I'll force a lot of people into getting a hooky version if it is. Cant wait to see it though!

Cheers guys, I keep hearing good things about the CW pads... was very impressed with the ones I had on there to be honest. Might see what the price difference is between the two and see if my 'smashed-to-bits' christmas wallet can stretch to the CW ones. I assume a toyota dealer would be able to find standard Uk pads in a jiffy... anyone know where I could find a part number? -
I havent laughed so hard as when i noticed 'arse biscuits' on the door.... Very good episode, anyone else continually thinking about some of the staged stuff though, like when the bmx guys came skidding down that staircase and May had to lock up and put on a dissapproving face... Its better when they just leave all that stuff out! Also I loved the bright yellow noise machine... what a monster!

Hi All, The time has come to replace the pads (and possibly the discs) on my GZ. I think they are the uprated import brakes which were an option on the 94 reg GZ's Pictures below... can someone tell me if i need UK/Import pads etc? The pictures arnt the best im afraid but can anyone help? Also if these can be identified wheres the best place to go to get them? Thanks in advance guys!

-
lol... dont get me wrong I had a really good look round the site but couldnt find out about how adding nitrous effects boost. Loads of other really usefull information though... those guys really know their stuff!
-
Glad you got your motor back mate... cant imagine how pissed i'd be if someone lifted mine. No prints? Doesnt sound like it was the work of little chav joyriders fella. Glad there was a happy ending for a change
-
I had a look on there but couldnt see anything relating to the results of adding nitrous to a turbo system. I'll have another look and see if I missed anything.

Managed to christen the supe at usc last year... me kneeling on drivers seat with my head in the back of the car, her with her head against the passenger window holding onto the jesus christ handle, one knee on the seat one foot in the foot well... Me and a mate were just talking about how installing a wet nos system would affect the level of boost on a Jspec TT BPU. Mine for example runs about 1.1 - 1.2 ish and has a restrictor ring fitted to prevent it from climbing over this. Would running nitrous increase the level in which the car boosts to? (ignoring the fact that the restrictor ring would prevent it) Just wondering... anyone got any ideas?

Got a pic or a link to one?

Didn't James May have the Veyron on the top speed ring on TG last year... I seem to remember a quote something along the lines of... "at this speed the tyres will only last 15 minutes... im not worries though... the fuel will only last for 10" Or something like that

Track Day Weekend In France - Guaging Interest

As far as I know its per car but the accomodation and ferries etc will probably face extra costs for the 'passengers'. Not sure how it will work but I will speak to her and find out. Cheers -

Hi Si, Really sorry mate but im not gonna be able to make it. Im going on holiday this sat and i though i was gonna be back late the following sat. Turns out my flight doesnt get into Gatwick till 8.30am on sunday so theres no way im gonna be able to get to marham in time. Hope this hasnt cocked anything up for you. Mark EDIT - just realised i wasnt on the list anyway! -
Everytime he drives it big boy! My times were sh#t too, especially on the saturday. Best I ran the whole weekend was 13.6 and i even managed a 15 flat on sat when i managed to pull away in manual 2nd gear like a total penarse! Felt like I was waiting for the end of time before the tubbs kicked in. My friend got video of me swearing and smashing the steering wheel in frustration whilst gently wandering up the strip Only did two runs that day and five in total... wicked weekend but wasn't feeling the racing. Too damn hot! Shame i didnt see you boys down there... Mark - I thought you weren't able to bring the golden beast for some reason... wish i'd seen ya about for a beer
-
Hey all, just got back from Santa Pod after spending the weekend baking in the sun and dust. Really wicked weekend, racing, boozing, laughing and a little bit of perving. Saw a few Supras down there but never actually got to say hello to any of you guys, saw at least two mkiv stickers though and a few without. One of the nicest ones there was camped with several other assorted cars, a fire spitting cossie and a few others. Pearlescent white with a lovely bodykit... very nice mate. I came over to say hi but the girl and guy I spoke to said you were in the crapper Pictures below... Suprajim maybe? Girlies Mine

Hadn't thought about the ferry vs lowered soop problem... I know she gets massive discounts on the ferries because of numbers. I will mention the possibility of the chunnel and see if shes got any ideas. Ark - More the merrier mate, like i said earlier its not a supra specific day but wanted to be a bit wary about slower back markers; scoobies etc -

Just seen this! Count me in if there are still places to be had. I will PM you my details right now. Payment by Cheque only? Let me know as I have no idea where my cheque book is and will need to borrow my dads one if that wouldn't be a problem. Cheers Mate -
Mine passed last year because of this... Failed this year though as they had obviously worked out that it needed a cat test. Got the cats put back in, passed the retest yesterday and having them pulled out again today. Found out afterwards that the fella testing the car knows my dad from years ago and told me "mate, if i'd have known you were daves boy we could have sorted something out" Damn!

Track Day Weekend In France - Guaging Interest

Yes thats the one... i'll see if i can get some pics of the circuit, Pete - Its not specifically a Supra event, all are welcome but im just trying to guage numbers at the moment. Just supras would be cool but dependant on interest I imagine we will need to look elsewhere for numbers. Ive got a friend with an Alfa GTA who's keen and another with a race tuned mini BUT not having seen the course I wouldnt want things to get dangerous (or tedious) when overtaking slower cars in our obviously far faster machines Julie (the lady organising this) is currently looking into dates and costings. Shes also talking about maybe mixing it up a bit so we spend one day at Folembray and then move a few hours up the road to another circuit for the next day. 1. Marktheboy 2. Pete_TT 3. Gazboy 4.
