Interesting thread with some sound advice. I priced the front (235*45*17) @ £117, but that was in Inverness and you could probably get them closer to the tonne I think if u shopped about. I'll drop Richy a pm.

Anybody had any experience of this brand. Apparently it has come top of the Auto Express Tyre Test results 2 years in a row (2003 & 2004). Categories tested were Wet Handling, Wet Cornering, Strait Aquaplaning, Curved Aquaplaning, Wet Braking, Dry Braking, Dry Handling, Rolling Resistance, In-car Noise & Price. This manufacturer beat Goodyear, Mitchellin, Bridgestone & Toyo!!

An excellent turn out meant that the MKIV Supra club put on one of the strongest showings at the event. Fast & Modified mag turned up to cover the event so there should be some pics in the next issue. Nice one guys

All systems go! We will be joining the Road Racer stand this time around. Once the new club banners, etc. are ready it would be good to keep some here in Scotland so that we can have a club stand at events like this. See you all tomorrow

Reason I'm wanting to change to 45 is that the front are 45*17 and I'm concerned at the different depth between front & rear. Should it be 40 or 45 all round?

Advice on this one would be appreciated...I've got 265*40*17 on the rear BBS wheels. Could I go to 275*45*17 without the tyres sticking out past standard wheel arches or rubbing against anything? Cheers

OK chaps! Plan is for everyone to meet at the UGC, Dundee, 10am. Supra Dan can provide directions. Does anyone have club stickers, whatever that we can hand out?

Hope someone can help with this... Basically @ speeds in excess of 70 the wipers don't make contact with the windscreen so making it difficult to see in the rain. I renewed the blades, but am still having the problem. Any ideas? Cheers
