  1. I just bought an RSR exhaust 3" and by accident bought 2.5" decat pipes. My car is a UK spec, I am going BPU with boost controller etc.. does it matter that I have 2.5" decats in.. I am I going to loose any power or create more heat, I have been told not.. but I just wanted piece of mind before I made these decat pipes second hand by fitting them. Cheers
  2. Any news on the pillar pod? price and a picture? cheers
  3. engine braking and brakes.... are the best for killing the speed quickly. I am not dissing the auto.. just interested on how other people drive them hard.. On another note.. is it okay to coast an auto in N and how bad is it to rev the engine slightly and put it into drive.. or if i want to start off quickly is it exceptable to keep the brakes on, hit the accelerator, let the auto box build up the pressure and then release? are these all no no's? jonnie
  4. i also was told once, if you give it a damn good thrashing just before the emissions test it helps. I could be wrong on this one though
  5. wow the cars look awsome.. and so do the girls... my lord!!!!
  6. If I am doing some high speed twisties etc, its nice to have the extra control of 2nd and 3rd in manual mode... such as slowing down with engine breaking etc... so what do people do to stop the back end locking up when dropping into second, I came to a tight corner today, dumped it into second and ended up going around it with the backend out sideways at 70. Should I hit the throttle for a second once i have moved it into second or just keep it floored while changing down and then let off.. this is where i miss the clutch and being able to slowly let the clutch bite and give the engine a chance to catch up with the revs for engine breaking and not skipping the back out. thoughts?
  7. will be! I have an RSR exhaust sat here, an fdc, a turbo timer a blitz sbs-i boost controler, and uprated fuel pump, new sparkies, and just waiting on lucifer to deliver my decats and then its BPU time.. then wheels as mine are bald.. still want a manual but i could not turn this car away.. will have to stick with the autos i think. Glad yours is going well and you like it! jonnie
  8. I will post more info if anyone shows any interest. Tatty but works fine. Rode it today. MOT about or has just run out. Taxed till the end of the month. All plastic bits and a set of panniers are there. Needs some TLC. 49,000 maybe a little less. As I said, Any interest let me know. Could be ridden straight off, but really could do with some tidying. Has been serviced. Oh and its a D reg
  9. I am starting to enjoy gardening.. never never would have thought I would say that. I do have lots of interesting hobbies to pull back from that.. but recently I mostly been gardening

  13. Hi If your on here, I loved the color of your car.. especially with the matching rims. I may have seemed a little over enthusiastic.. sorry about that. Its from being on this forum. It feels like you know everyone in a Supra!! Jonnie
  14. woo.. just seen this post.. I live only two miles from alton towers!... when is this meet going to happen, trying to work it out by skipping back though the posts. I am most definatly in! I have plenty of camping space. but I have a very unfriendly drive to my farm.
  15. I am going.. cant wait. No idea what to expect.. But aeroplanes rock!
  16. I am starting to push my girlfriend to drive mine. she now only drives 8 miles a day.. What can go wrong in eight miles! I can then take the deisel and save myself a fortune. Surly nothing can go wrong in 8 miles... ermmmm
  17. http://www.419eater.com/html/hall_of_shame.htm I assume you have seen this website.. revenge on the scammers!
  18. If I am not too hungover and I actually remember I will make an appearence. Would like to see whos around and I am spending money on mine at the mo and want to get some ideas where i can put my soon to be fitted boost contoller, turbo timer and an EGT guage. I am guessing some people coming have these already. So see you sunday, what time to peps start showing?
  19. Its my only car, i do about 300 miles a week. so exactly one tank... Just still painfull as that about 64 quid a week on petrol for going basically nowhere. ermmmm.... but by the time i insure and run another car... and dont get as much fun I may as well stick with my supra.
  20. Ebay in my opinion are a bunch of tossers... I have had a few occasions where I have tried to get my fees back.. mostly due to Mr Nigeria and his western union.... etc etc.. they never quite payback what they owe you.. I have always recieved some slightly less random amount.. I guess its because they are so big that you will never get a personal service from the help... but it is a usefull service to sell apsolutely anything.. but now that they own paypal also. they take money off you twice.. they must be raking it in.... god damn them and there shitty money making ways.
