  1. actually make it £9950 as it sounds lots cheaper!
  2. £10,000 now if anyone is interested otherwise its the swap for the 8 owner cerbera! what away to end my supra days.
  3. I thought my UK would sell fast but people dont want to pay nearly 10,000 even when its a UK model. Prices suck at the mo to many imports so why buy a UK car when you can get a import for 3 - 4 k less. arse ours are better buy UK!!!
  4. went to see it today... my god it was fast as there is no waiting for turbos. awsome car, the door opener on the driverside did not work and its had eight owners. which is a lot! decisions decisions.
  5. Ok I am getting this feeling.. but for a straight swap I have more chance of getting around 10,000 for the TVR than my Supra. Would you agree? My main aim by the end of the summer is to have sold my fun car and with the luck I have had on the supra I am tempted to try the TVR. Jonnie
  6. wow, i remember that clip now. Well I will go and look and take it from there. It does have a full TVR history, bothered by the fuel its the running. It would be going from one extreme of total reliability to living on the edge with a blank cheque in hand. jonnie
  7. Hi, I have been offered a 96 cerbera for my supra. I think its a good swap but I fear the running costs will be massive. Whats peoples thoughts? I am tempted to swap and then sell the TVR at the end of the summer, It must sell quicker than my Supra as I have nealry given up unless I give it away. Anyone driven one. its the 4.2 Cheers jonnie
  8. I think I will risk it and just not put my foot down! Its only £30 so even one lap is something I have never done before! I will try and learn where the microphones are
  9. Been offered a tootle around Donnington on a "quiet night" the noise restriction is 98 decibels. Its only 30 quid but if my exhaust is louder than that then there is no point as I wont even last a lap. Double decat RSR Exmag GTII any ideas? Many thanks Jonnie
  10. Is it the price? Is it that people do not believe the low millage? I have lost face that this car is sellable at a reasonable price. Going to have try Autotrader. Arghhh.
  11. Well its been on here for a while! Still no takers. Will I ever get my family 4x4! Same speel as before but with a lower price tag! I have known this car for quite some years now. My best friends mum bought it with only a few miles on the clock and its been serviced in the same garage it was bought from since. Its a local car bought and lived in and around Derby. She passed away about 7 years ago and her husband kept it stored (running occasionally) until august of last year where finially he decided to let it go to me. Thus why the milage is so low. Since I have owned it I had every fluid changed, and have done about 5000 miles. I Have had the car BPU`ed by Paul Whiffin at WHIFBITZ at great expence and since then have only travelled 2000 miles. Thus this is why I want £10950 for it I expect people will complain that its too much but there cant be many UK supras have so few miles under its belt. If you are interested please PM me for any more details There is a few marks on the back corner of the rear bumper, a pin dent on the rear right wing, a mark on the bonnet at the front and a few paint chips on the front air intake. The wheels do have some kurbing marks which I nearly cried when I did it. Tires have miles and miles left on them interior is spotless and I had a new Oil diff cooler fitted on the last service. I have reciepts for the all the work done. Please look at my garage for pictures. I live very near to Alton Towers in the Midlands. I have the origional wheels so you can knock some off the asking price and will swap them over. Tires are pretty bad though! The wheels will be thrown in otherwise if I get around what I am asking for. It even still has the origional breaking-in sticker on the windscreen from when it was sold new. The only person to modify the car was when I got it! It could easily be turned back to a standard vehicle if you really wanted to. see garage for pics! Thanks Jonnie __________________ Jonnie - 96 red UK spec TT Auto Midlands --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12. The final push and the price goes to 10950. If it does not go for this then we are all in trouble! lets hope Japan runs out of them soon! cheers jonnie
  13. Time to get to the top spot agian! Still here
  14. Can I change the thread title to show a lower price whats the best thing to do? anyone advise? thanks
  15. Oh then there is the wireing for the boost controller and guages to take out. Sounds like hard work and expensive. I would probably be happier spending money on getting a manual gearbox converstion one day and keeping it! Then there really would be no going back! My left hand gets bored! Jonnie
