With the account being joint his capital then effectively halves, moving the money from his name or gifting to family members / kids into trusts etc might be an option. It would seem that if you work hard to provide for you and your family you are entitled to nothing, where as if you had nothing you get everything

Should be fun, the turbo variant is very quick. They surely cannot be as bad to work on as the Lotus Elise, a mate had an Elise S1 JPS special, fun car but having worked on it I would never buy one

If your off boost it should be cruise AFRs and will bounce around a bit. Will be richer on warm up and should settle around 14.7 for idle, maybe leaner, not seen a stock motor for a long time

Do you have an wideband AFR gauge installed? If its on stock injectors and ECU you can in theory drive off boost while being careful, ideally you would have injectors and ECU installed with a safe basemap.

The media is a very big problem, to get ratings they actually cause more hysteria by being reckless..... A simple example is the weather reporting, each year they come up with some new forecast where the world will end and we are lucky if we see a day of snow

That is a proper dinosaur of a turbo, it will have a very narrow powerband up the top of rev range. Do not try and get any boost out of it until the injectors and fueling are sorted unless you want a rebuild too
