Wouldn't bother with the HKS filter, you can get magnetic sump plugs which cant do any harm. I get my filters, plugs, oil etc all from OpieOils on here

Have you checked wiring to check light, maybe its been disabled by a previous owner.

He can supply a height adjustable, custom setups or off the shelf to his spec, ie set and forget, best to have a chat with him as he doesnt like PMs

As stock a MKIV does not have an EGT or wideband fitted and are not needed for an engine to run but they are certainly nice to have if you utilize them correctly If I had to pick one over the other I think it would be the wideband, but no reason not to have both installed and setup on the ECU.

A modified GTR running good launch control is just brutal off the line From a rolling start depending on setups they could be more evenly matched.

As per Stevies post above, if you create new SSID dont expect your device to just jump networks, I have found that most mobile devices will hang onto the connected wireless network as long as possible even though a much stronger network is available. Multiple AP via the CAT5/6 wiring with same SSID and passcode is what I would do too

If you didnt want to spend any money and wanted to re-purpose the hardware you could install a NAS OS on it, 9 times out of 10 the reason for slowness is the crappy OS, hardware doesn't get slower with age the software gets more bloated. http://www.freenas.org/ http://www.nas4free.org/ - - - Updated - - - What phone sofware are you using, AD can be emulated on most modern NAS.
