  1. Thanks for that Digsy breathers all standard. Will giveyou a ring in the week (Chris) about some parts. Never gone for the very expensive oil, last time I serviced the car, I used Morris oil which I thought wasn't actually that bad. am I wrong?
  2. Hi just in the process of doing my valve stem seals on my Jspec tt supra, I was wondering why the inlet side of the Head the bearing caps are a lot blacker than the exhaust side of the head.
  3. Nice looking supra parked up with Gold toyota badge and neuherberg ring sticker, looked like it had AMG merc wheels on it, I was in my work van on way out, so didn't get a close look
  4. Depends on the load at the other end. A 4mm cable at 150m will carry about 1.5KW without too much of a volt drop at the other end, any more then you should look at getting some 6mm cable. So if its just a few lights and light tools 4mm but if you want a kettle and toaster in the shed get some 6mm Thinks its about £1.90 a metre form lockwells/edminsons etc and they will cut it too length
  5. I also really want to see it now as I have just read the 5 pages from start hoping to find a link where is it ...[ANGRY][/ANGRY]
  6. New Glass lights at last well worth it I reckon, A lot more light on the road too. Look out on Ebay or contact me if you want my old plastic ones You can have them refubed for around £100 from "gzaerojon"
  7. cheers scooter tried to ring chris today about this as he is very local to me but didn't get in touch thanks anyway though
  8. Same happened to me was well impressed the belt didn't come off, got all the way home with no damage, definatley go Original pulley from toyota. Replaced mine just before christmas took about 2-3 hours working from the top, (easier form underneath I am told) Used 2 x M8 blots and a round metal disc and wound nuts down the bolts to pull old wheel off, got some photos if you need them.
  9. Hi I have got to change clutch out on supra very very soon like now, but I am wondering if to do the dual mass fly wheel at the same time, I know the clutch has gone but does any one know if its normal to change fly wheel at same, I have never had car with this type of fly wheel before,I know about how tho ckeck the fly wheel when I can see it,(105mm tollerence) just after any thoughts as I don't want to really take box off twice but don't want too spend unnecessary mileage 65000
  10. Hi I had this problem a few months ago, I read this page whilst looking at car and worked what was what, it turned out to be a cracked pipe on the EBV VSV (Pressure tank side) it was very loose. Your Number 3 on your picture. The rubber pipe went from the VSV to the EBV actuator where it T's off to the pressure tank http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/supra/turbo.htm Steve
  11. That says it all think I'm gonna stay stock Chris W also advises this. Thanks Pete but managed to get new pulley for around £170 today today, Ill have a go at weekend, cheers for everyones comments.
  12. has anyone changed one, haven't had decent look yet, is it easy to get with engine tray out or have i got to scratch my hands to bits getting between fan and pulleys
  13. Hi just wondering if any one has had this problem before, my crank pulley came off the other night whilst coming off an island, lucky the belt fell back onto the inner pulley and the tensioner took the slack, as the inside rubber damper has deteriated and seperated. Quite a few Loud bangs as pulley span off and rattled around front of engine untill it came to stop on engine tray, had a quick look but was very dark and pissing down with rain no warning lights, so carried on home, no other damage just loose belt and squeely as f*^k on the way back. New pulley £220 from toyota [sHOCK][/sHOCK] and £40 for belt. Might give Chris Wilson a call see if he is still struggling with the EPC CD:eyebrows:
  14. Hi I had a Greddy Full stainless with double Decat Pipe fitted by Chris Wilson to my supra TT in June and am still really pleased with how quiet it can be when you drive normally, just a low burble, but when you open it up, it is awesome. Like supra-man says blast round in front of a copper and he will pull you. Steve
