  1. Lovely colour and some good videos, when did they start making you wear helmets and santa pod?
  2. Thanks guys! Just used camera phone and Google did it's (stylised) thing. I do like the colours though.
  3. Unwrapped after the winter hibernation and a bit late getting the supra out this year. But took it for a blast this afternoon down some great back roads driving between 2nd and 3rd gear just around the turbo no2 kickin! Really getting those tyres warm! I forget how well the sequential setup works, pulls really well down the low end and doesn't give up until you hit the top boosting at 1bar. All this removed any doubt of ever selling it during the winter. Those Japanese really did make an amazing machine! Took a few photos & really must try and get some drone footage this year.
  4. Looks Great! Bet your really pleased but I bet you end up changing wheels. I did the same a few years back (respray original red) and after a while just felt the std 16 weren't doing it, so tried uk 17" and ended up with 18"gt7 volks. Like the stock though!
  5. Walked past you on way back from school on the corner of Christchurch drive. Didn't know any sups were up here ?
  6. I swapped my lights some years back now to brand new uk glass head lamps and have never had any problems. I didn't seal mine like yours with silicone but that also may be the cause, unless you can guarantee there is no moisture in the air when fitting the bulbs you may have inivertantly trapped moisture within the lamp hence causing the droplets on the inside of the glass. I may be wrong but I have not heard of using silicone to seal the bulbs in as its pretty well splash proof behind there anyway. Only my thoughts!
  7. The bag is in the boot so I'll find out for you can't think what the make was
  8. Peter you must live about 11 miles from your mot station, that's got to be a record! I thought 279 miles was low a few years back. Nice spot Carl a few flight cases in the background, we do more outdoor event jobs Public Adress & CCTV etc but the space comes in reall handy this time of year. Thanks Dnk I'll have to have a get the Geo looked at, CW is local so might give him a call although he will say "told you so" Thanks for your comments guys, Ashloys I bet the driver of the Nissan told all his mates later. I was raging thinking the same Shawnpreece it used to be my daily car so did about 250 a week but you must have filled up at least 4 times that week?
  9. Wrapped her up today and took a few pics after a good clean. Managed to get a massive 1,162 Miles use this year, sorry but I'm blaiming bad weather and two young kids, although we did get a day out in the supra, 4 up and a push chair in the boot! Few jobs for next year: Try and get a better suspension setup, it's handles awful now on 18's compared to my old 16's. Wet weather! forget it. A Disco 4 dropped me at the lights a few weeks back whilst I the rears danced about. Any recommendations ? Look after your sup this winter, sad to see them when they get caught out in the ice.
  10. I am in Shrewsbury, I did use mine every day since 2004, loved it! But I needed to get a family car (estate) which has become the daily, I kept the supra as I couldn't bring myself to sell up. Spends the winter inside but try and get some miles on in the summer. What wheels and suspension have you got on ? I put 18" gt7's on last year and have to say it's not as gooder ride as the 16"
  11. Good to see them on the road I was nearly out in mine but needed a boot!
  12. Passed me on the M54 yesterday heading west from J5. I was in grey 300c estate. Looked pretty low!
  13. Thanks, I think the wings looked hotter either because of the shut lines left an area for the heat to escape or the difference between the alloy bonnet and steel wings, plus the bonnet has the sound deadening material under it, who knows but I thought it did look pretty cool. Time for some more testing
  14. So I was meant to be testing this thermal imaging camera out for work but thought, how hot are the rear tyres on the surpa ?
  15. I have used SGS for my supra and 300c I found them really good and a very quick turnaround even for the supra as they need your old brackets to attach to the new ones, they even painted the brackets. Fitting is straight foward, just need to peel the plastic side trim back to get to bolts, a flexi rachet spanner works well as you don't have to completely remove all the trim. Dont forget to prop your boot up with a bit of wood, surprising how much heavier it is when the tired struts are removed.
  16. I get a similar problem after mine has stood and its the rubber hoses onto the vsv need tightening or replacing, just check the one in the photo is nice and tight.
  17. Think its the A5 south between hospital island and Radbrook island
  18. Sorry no pics of plate I didn't take it just found it on local papers twitter feed.
  19. Hope they were ok, that bit of road goes from a very grippy island tarmac and then changes to quite a slipery surface, very easy to get caught out, seen many mgf's and jags do the same thing. Dont know if they are a member on here looks like a UK spec wheels as said hopw there ok. Check out @wmasrobmarsh's Tweet:
  20. Hi I ain't no expert but I think the diff cooler is only appropriate for long periods of high speed driving like on autobahns and stuff, to extend the life of the diff. UK roads would probably never warrant the need. I am sure someone will correct me on here if I am wrong.
  21. Thanks, didn't really want to change the colour of the car, not sure about the UV resistant, although I thought most clear laquers contained UV inhibitors. Car was sprayed by Roy Harwood Car Body Repairs Shrewsbury
  22. Hi all Supra back together now and found a sunny(ish) day to bring her out of hibernation for a clean. Respray came in at £2400inc vat and worth every penny. Not taxed yet, probably next month. Next on the list is a service, squeeky idle pulley and to sort the wheels.
