  1. cheers mate ill keep an eye out... my seat covers seem to have zips on the inside thats why i thought thay may come off... then easier to get as they can be posted i reckon! are the seats easy to swap with the drivers one being electric?
  2. my '93 supra seems to have some dodgy two-tone seat pattern going on (faded blue/green at top and grey about half way down)... was wondering if the seat covers are easy to swap or if its worth getting some second hand seats if they're easy to fit?... can't afford a leather re-trim at the moment! any advice would be appreciated:)
  3. have stuck clingfilm in the holes but they said it would take up to 2 weeks from when i post them off so i better hope for nice weather! wont tape lose its stickyness in the rain tho?!
  4. hi folks, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. i have just removed my tailgate struts for reconditioning but it has left four holes as the bolts are connected to the struts. then when i was quietly sitting watching topgear it started pissing down with rain and i suddenly remembered these holes, they go straight into the interior! i loosened the pannel to see if it was wet in there but it was hard to tell and it was dark... but the interior light wouldnt go out after that so i just removed the bulb for now... does this mean i messed up a connection somewhere?! i was also wondering if anyone knows whats best for bunging holes to make them a bit waterproof! thanks in advance
  5. try this... http://www.ncs-systems.com/speedm8/ found it by chance really... gave them a call today and they seemed quite knowledgeable. the guy said it wouldnt affect the variable rate pas etc... but its hard to know how good this thing is without knowing anyone who has used it as he could tell me anything really!
  6. hi guys just wondering if anyone here has used a converter from speed m8 and if so are they any good and easy to fit? cheers
  7. hey there, does anyone here have a problem with the dashboard 'warping'? i seem to have a problem with the dash just above the top glovebox and also just above the odometer where the join is... it looks like it has lifted. does anyone know if this is heat related??? was wondering if it may be adhesive thats come unstuck... also does anyone know if this 'warping' can be rectified... i hear there's people who can restore a dash where mobile kits have been removed etc... would be grateful for any help with this
  8. thanks for all the help guys, will give toyota a call tomorrow!
  9. hi everyone, i've just purchased a '93 n/a which seems to have developed a rattle on the way home! on closer inspection the gas struts in the boot don't support the weight of the boot anymore. so basically i was wondering if the rattle was being caused by the play in the boot as the struts seem dead?! the last owner said the car had been resprayed so maybe if any rubber stoppers were removed and not replaced properly it would cause a rattle... are these things adjustable? if the boot is pushed up near the end with the latch when driving the rattle seems to stop so i'm pretty sure its the boot thats rattling anyhow! would be grateful for any advice on this cheers
