  6. so if the odometer is left to read in km, does it have a feed which is independant to the speedo because what happens if you put in a converter to swich the speedo to miles?
  7. Well I guess the hour would soon be taken up with convincing the wife to let you work on the car (again), sorting the garage to find all the tools hidden under the kids toys and bikes, going back to the kitchen to get a beer cos its much harder than I thought comments to the wife..... then actually starting work...I could see a whole morning or maybe even a day, the wife could take the kids out and ....... hmmm guess it might take a week lol not really I love you so much, just kidding ..ouch dont hit me there
  8. anyone have any experience of these, i.e does this mean a complete decat and what does it sound like, dont want something that will keep the baby awake! :-) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MKIV-Toyota-Supra-93-98-TRD-style-stainless-exhaust-3_W0QQitemZ250029077658QQihZ015QQcategoryZ38786QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. I will be on the island this weekend if anyone else is there? maybe arrange to meet somewhere :-)
  10. Hi all Is there anything special to note about airlocks? When at the main dealer the other day the very nice man (haha) was trying to tell me there is a particularly difficult routine to follow 'in a car of this type' and I shouldnt attempt to drain the coolant myself. Horsesh*t or some truth? I havent noted any problems when I have carried this out on other cars. :-) Andy
  11. anyone else going from Bracknell or Woking area?

  20. Calling the technical guys; Any answer to the correct idle speed and if there is a way to adjust on a N/A? :-)
  21. Hi mine is silver and I live local and am sometimes at the Halfords. Saw a lovely black one here the other day, it was parked next to mine - so whose is that one? :-)
  22. Hi guys well after much searching I have found this which proves quite helpful http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/tyrecalc.asp :-) Thanks for your answers although some are a little off track! Many thanks to Merckx, short sweet and to the point, just what I was looking for.
  23. Hi everyone Not long bought a 94 NA, but looking for some advice on tyres and wheels please, hopefully some of you will have more technical knowhow on this than me: The wheels are http://www.rimstock.co.uk/rimstockuk/wheelrange.php model: Team Dynamics Diablo Fronts are 18 inch 7.5JxH2 with 215/40 tyres Rears are 18 inch 8.5xH2 with 235/40 tyres Now the Team Dynamics website fitment guide suggests a tyre size of 225/40 for both sizes of wheel. Right questions are: What is the standard trye/wheel size to give the correct speedo reading? What is the largest (width) and most suitable tyre size for each wheel? I am unsure where the speedo calculates from but I assume that it is the rear and so the tyres at the back should be as close to the original revoultion distance as possible? If i have 18 inch wheels, surely the spare is no good to me as is a completely different diameter? Thanks all hopefully see a few of you about soon - I am Guildford, Surrey way. Cheers :-) Wightlad
