Doeboy Promise i will make this time.....ended up going sailing in that force 5/6 on the sunday, nearly drowned twice! Rather of been in my Sup - sounds like you had a really good time. Although - the roads over the past few weeks have been slippy as hell!
  2. Chav corner unfortuantely. Clarence pier arcades, bus stop area, good lay by for about 10cars. Any more and the buses take out yer supe!
  3. So true...questioned to death that one. If you need one....well come to Portsmouth, I've got a 94 GZ TT Silver auto up for grabs for £7k. Completely untouched, 52k on clock, with some 18" s to boot. Only used 2k miles over past yr, keep garaged.
  4. 7th January 2pm you say... Been off snow boarding to france...but too bloody early, no snow! My poor supra been under its cover for the past month, only done about 2k in it this yr..poor show. Where we meeting usual place?

  7. Ok from the general concensus i get the feeling that most people are skint currently as just come back from holiday or being getting lashed at titty bars whatever!! I propose we revisit this next sunday at our meet or i can relaunch this proposal in a couple of months say october. I can ring the circuit see when the next track day is in October and get a Chichester meet going, could involve the brighton massive? Sounds like we'd enjoy a day blasting but not racing as brakes,pads and tyres cost money we havent got! Still though a half day experience could be worth it. Safe fun after all.

  9. Just checked on http://www.goodwood.co.uk/circuithire/ 16th September, Half day for 10 cars £135 each as comes with tuition/guidance. We could do 2 half days to fit everyone in and combine the pie pint lunch at goodwood track?
  10. Spoke to a friends girlfriend last night whos works for the Portsmouth traffic police. Interesting conversation bearing in mind, the blast we had to Chichester the other weekend. Hampshire monitor the road to Chichester, and West Sussex police monitor Chi to Emsworth. Apparently they sit on the roadside with digital cameras zapping motorists who speed. With that in mind and the fact we were discussing the next meet being a sunday or saturday lunchtime pie/pint. What about the club booking a track day at Goodwood? Has anyone done it already? I'll be happy to look into it if we get the same number of cars as last time. Let me know your thoughts - Goodwood race track or normal portsmouth cruise?
  11. good to meet you mark and good of you to bring your misses Erica. Goes to show that Supras stretch across the sexes with chris and jo attending as well. I agree with earlier suggestions of having it the first weekend in the month. With the nights drawing in I recommend saturday 6pm or sunday lunchtimes - go for a pie and pint at a country pub? What do yer think?
  12. Fantastic night guys! Good cruise to Bosham via a27. My highlights are: 1. Sounding off down on Milton road at the lights, waking up the residents! 2. Good performance from the NA's, keeping up with the tt's. 3. Perersonally getting 130mph on chichester bypass only to be passed by matt like i was doing 30mph! Got a few more squirrels beneath his hood! 4. Stacking up on m27, 2 abreast by 5 long, pissing off the yocals. 5. The look on bretts face when he returned from trying jonboys tt!! Good night. Recommend as nights drawing in, earlier meet next time, say 6.30/7. Poss cruise A272, Petersfield, Seven Stars Pub, regular meet for racers, TVR's etc. Congrats on your cars, their all looking spankin'. Lets make this the BEST meet in the SOUTH!
  13. note to any of the chichester lot way, any of you wanting to meet up at 7.40pm at Tesco's havant to convey down. I live emsworth, so that the next best place. any takers?
  14. last time they cruised to the churchillian up on the viewpoint. I think some people fancied some motorway blatting this time. The m27 stretch between havant and chichester is unmanned by the police as it crosses two county borders and therefore the police cant be arsed! I've 135mph easily down there. Could then end up at the bosham inn, large car park and garden, 1 mile away from end of motorway.? Just a thought. Or go along m27 to a32 and then up through a272 territory?
  15. Can i suggest that we keep it to 8pm again DILO? It doesnt interfer with the football traffic around pompey. Most people can then utilise their saturday better. If it is 8pm i'll be in tescos havant car park at 7.45pm for anyone cruising past chichester/emsworth/havant/hayling way.

  17. Failing that Kook, you can ride with me? The 19th looks the best for me as the weekend after is the august bank holiday, and most people are off doing stuff. Great pictures from the last meet, i had to shoot off to watch fast'n' furious by 830pm so was a bit bummed to miss the cruise to the Churchillian. Hopefully we'll blat along the m27 next time.
  18. Yep really good turnout. It really turned all the yocals headz. Sorry we had to dash off earlier, as we had tickets for Fast n furious film at gunwharf at 8.30. Looking forward to the next one.

    Fitting BOV?

    The jury's still out on this one, but if i was to purchase a HKS SSQ BOV for my tt, on a scale of 1 to 10 ( 10 being hardest) , how hard are they to fit? Any tips?
  22. Brakes, just done mine last week. As above take off calipers and spring clips, find out which type of pads you have, buy them in advance from motor factors. SAnd down with 120 grit the discs if they're glazed, get em shinny again. File pads too if they're glazed. Paint up calipers, get em looking sexy, and add supra decals, total job 1 day!

Harvester on Eastern road, gives good cruising and big car park, with outdoor seating. 2. The Thatched house, off Locksway road, medium car park but can sit outside and admire the bodywork (take that either way) while tide comes in. 3. The Ship Inn, Langstone, quick blat along M27 to Havant, great pub, overlooks sea, big park with outdoor viewing. Any takers?
  25. Yeah.. good to met up for an in promptu evening. Hats off to the "colour co-ordinator" to arrange a good silver /red supra combo. Looking forward to 30th! Perhaps we should suggest a cruise route for 30th, with a nice pub to finish off?
