  1. Ahh, Eddy, big hug recieved with a big smile and swollen briefs I fear my visit may not be like the Take That song, but I'll aways be 'around'
  2. Cannot believe this thread is still alive and kicking!!
  3. Hi mate. Yeah I'm good ta. I 'browse' every now and again. No probs, thanks for the bump
  4. Hello All Just popping in to see if anyone is interested in some of my gaming wares I’ve been on Amazon to check the second hand values of the games to ensure my prices are reasonable. It seems that the Limited Edition version of Skyward Sword (with Gold Wii remote plus) commands a bit of a premium. All games, boxes and manual etc well looked after (see photos at the bottom) If you’re interesting, please PM me. More than willing to discuss discounts for bulk purchases Prefered method of payment is bank transfer, but can do paypal if buyer covers the fees. 5. Completed the main story last night. Wow, what an epic build up and ending. They really put effort in the story line in this one. After a slow start, I was pleased how good it got. I'm still only ~50% through so loads more to do. Wonder if I'll be able to do the story+ mode.

    Credit Cards

JC! 20k credit limit on a card!!! now that's dangerous territory!
  7. Lovely attention to detail, even with the mounts for the oil cooler
  8. That's not a bad idea. Carbon paper may work too, attached to the underside of the bonnet.
  9. Looks good and only £20k, so for the money that's pretty decent. Still, it's not for me though.

    Bit of Fun!

Not a thread title I would expect! but interested nonetheless
  11. I've recently done some research as I've not long bought a new TV. For 42", it has to be 1080p and Plasma is still best. Mine is the Panasonic GT30. I wouldn't be worried about getting an LG however. My last TV was an LG at 42" and it was brilliant.
  12. Imagine what a proper leader could achieve with the unreal cash influx that the oil brings.
  13. Very true. The game must appear alien to people who haven't played AA. I'm 5% in according to the tally and I felt exactly the same. The game throws the player in at the deep end. AA built batman up from basically a guy with a punch ability. With AC, you have loads of stuff from the go, with no story based tutorial. I'm still getting to grips with the controls again. From being able to do a combo in AA using all the bat gadgets and moves, I can now just about muster up a 6 variety combo! It's not rocked my world yet. Catwomen side story is good though. Very interesting character to play with.
  14. What do you think this place is, phones 4 u?

    Pressure Washer

I bought a Bosch aquatax years ago. It was good value and still does the job today. I've tried a top of the range Kersher one, but to be honest, even though the later is supposed to be better I didn't noticed anything. I'd suggest a budget PW is sufficient for car washing
  16. Just been to the shops at lunch and best price I can find on the high street in Manchester is £38. I'll have to pop into Asda after the gym, I think they're doing it for £35. GAME are selling for £43 I don't know how that place stays afloat.
  17. That's interesting. I've never seen that myself, but I do remember being told by an employee of Beatties (a long time ago) that they had copies of a particular game I wanted (for the N64!) sitting in the back, waiting for release day. I begged him to let me get hold of a copy early, but he said that he couldn't, because if the supplier / Nintendo found out they wouldn't provide to them anymore. I'd love to find a shop like that in Manc. I've been looking forward to Arkham City for ages.
  18. No, weight isn't what I'm chasing. Physiques like Brad Pitt’s in the two films you mentioned are a good example of what I consider to be in the vicinity of ‘ideal’. I am making good progress, but I don’t consider myself to be there yet, and after looking at this thread, I was wondering if protein shakes would be beneficial. I wouldn't like to think that any of the effort I put in at the gym was wasted because I didn’t have enough of the right fuel in me. With the above said, after my session on chest, triceps and abs last night, I reassured myself that I can leave the expensive supplements alone (for the time being anyway). There’s going to be a point in the near future when I’m going to have to start putting in leg sessions each week. There are too many examples of lads in my gym who are stacked to the hills up top and have skinny, little legs. They look like spuds being held up by cocktail sticks. I don’t think I’m quite that disproportional yet, however.
  19. Considering it's only been released in the UK today, were you playing an import version or a dodgy one?
  20. I've done a bit more reading on articles both for and against and all I can draw from it is I'm still none the wiser about whether I would be better off taking protein supplements. This one was quite an interesting read, but can I rely on it more than any other article out there that contradicts it? probably not. http://www.theiflife.com/how-much-protein-per-day-build-muscle/
  21. 250grams a day for me according to that calc. I looked on line about how much protein is in normal food and it would appear that based on that calculater, there's no way I'm going to be able to 'eat' enough protein. chicken breast = 30g An egg = 6g milk (cup) = 8 g http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/whattoeat/a/highproteinfood.htm
  22. No, I'm saying that if I apply your calc (2.2g per kg) then George would be 28.5 stone if he needs 400grams per day.
  23. by your calcuation, George is around 28.5 stone.
