That an possessing offences weapons like a knuckle duster too! I was thinking maybe a couple of grand here and there to just get someone over that salary fence, but making someone with a £40k salary look like he earned £120k is just reckless.

What I've spent or whether someone else would want the car is obviously irrelevant. I'd find it quite odd if I had a letter from my insurance company offering me £2k because they didn't like the style of the car. What I'm refering to is in the event of a collision without me being at blame. I'd consider it logical that the other insurance company would have to pay out for what it would cost for you to get back what you had - nothing more, nothing less.

So you're saying that if someone crashes into me, then I'm not entitled to get back what I owned based on adequate proof of what it would cost to build a car back up to the same standard? i.e if I had a GT35r turbo in there, I'm not entitled to a replacement GT45r turbo? When an insurance companys says like for like modifications, they're actually lying?

I hope it gets made. I'd love to see how something like that could perform. Be interesting viewing to watch a 6 wheeler go round the TG track at the hands of the stig.

Great final and good work from both Chris and stella. Both had really good innovative ideas for every aspect of the task. Even though I had Chris in the sweepstake, I think the right person defo won.

Not sure if this is a bit far for my guy, but I've used him for years and he's fitted 3 alarms in total for me. Did my audio and various elec bits in various cars. Highly recommended. He's based in 'Timperley', but he does go up to Scotland frequently to do trackers for fleet companies. If you want his contact details give me a PM

How does that relate to the cost of rebuilding a car with heavy mods? Obviously most owners with big spec cars will be selling their vehicle at a loss, but if someone comes and smashes in to it, then they would need to be paid out a lot more than they could sell it for to be truely compensated for their loss.

I'm up for it and would be fine with either event. I've been to the one in Warrington and it's a great track, but as I've never been to the Manchester one my preferance would be that. Is it alright if I invite some of my mates along? That way I could get a team of 4 together?

It's true. I'd wake him while he was sleeping in his Rotastak attic bedroom and he would be sat there on his back with a monster case of morning glory. I was a very proud owner. They have retractable nobs too, very handy.

I definately think the right two are in the final. Maybe things would be different if Liz was still in the mix. I loved the line 'Stuart, you're full of sh!t'. Brilliant! I can't watch YouTube at work, but if that's 'cassette boy vs the bloody apprentice', it's the second funniest thing I've ever seen on the web. The fist being the 'saw 4' trailer.
