Thats what i thought but Paul told me differently, i didnt argue legalitys with him as i wanted the car back and he wanted £400 (which i reluctantly paid) for 5 hours labour a battery and an switch of some sort. (altough i paid cash and got £50 off) The battery, 1 hour labour and the switch i was o.k with. But i asked them to swith over the barrells in the locks as they were from the aerotop and he charged me for that it should have been done originally but. I'm not sure specifically if i asked for the box to be checked over.. it was 6 months ago. But i did ask for for them to build me a working car, not just stick things together. I'd assume that any garage would advise of such things or take it on themselves to do it. the job wasnt cheap, about £15k from the top of my head

The box itself is great yes, but i'm told (and you can take this with a pinch of salt as Turbo fit told me) that there is a bit of effort to mount the box as it sits differently through the tunnel. Then there is the wiring, dash and the loom issues.

Technicaly yes, but Morrally No, paul said he would do the work on the car in between paying jobs and hes has done all that has needed to be done appart from a number of things that he didnt get round to doing before i had to take the car away last night to get my VIC test done today. namely the Defi gauges and the AFR gauge. I was expecting to drive away sorted but its not the case. I'm just worried about a number of things, and one is whether now the simple things are done, whether this big thing would be the nail in the coffin

Yeah the contract was with Hyper Sports and Racing, but apprantly Hyper Sports and racing doesnt exist anymore. Its now Hyper Sports and Racing UK. I'd happily pay if its shock damage.. and i know this is going to sound deflamatory but after everything... i dont know if i'd even trust a diagnostic, after all, as said by the new company, they are doing me a favour by looking at the car at all because its a new company!

Scotttttt, Manual is a preferance not a superiority. I'm tempted by a 6speed conversion, but then again i love the auto box. Its more to go wrong and i dont know who i would trust to have it done anyway. Waste is how you define it. Yes there has been alot of money wasted, none of it my choice or desire. If you read anything to do with my car then you will see that half the the money i have spent i never planned to spend. I've been burnt many a time, but you obviously take please in that. As for the rest of the money that has gone into the car that i wanted to spend. Worth every penny and i'd spend it again tomorrow in an instant. I love the car, so i had to revive it each time the sh!t hit the fan

I agree mate, but my faith has dwindled, on the flip side, might the grief be saved if i jsut took it else where and cut my losses? There is also another problem. Chris who owned Hyper Sports and Racing Ltd has sold the company and pretty much done a runner. The company is now apparantly a new entity owned by Paul; (one of the mechanics from Hyper) Hyper Sports and Racing UK Ltd. Wish i was as talented with mechanics as you Tony.

yeah i was thinking plugs, but hyper said they had changed the plugs and it was running fine... maybe i should take a look at them. It does seem to be something like that but then again i dont know. turned her over today and seemed to be ideling fine aside from the missing issue
