  1. One word that you could benefit from: concise
  2. Thanks Ben. I think I'll be cautious closer to the time (Say do it at 90k), but after doing a bit more reading I'm happy that the belt will last much longer than what I considered to be normal.
  3. I think civilisation will be f"cked by then as the fuel crisis bites us. Of course, if they sort out Fusion power you'll be right and I'll be wrong, but that's a big if.
  4. I've just bought a MK2 focus as my new daily. I've checked the service intervals and the timing belt (cam belt) is good for 100k! This seems quite a lot of miles for a belt. It's what Ford say though. Thoughts?
  5. I've just spent some time reading through this very confusing thread and have concluded the following: http://davetutin.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341bf98153ef0120a95ca55d970b-800wi
  6. Quick response as I need to shoot: Suspension: Stock suspension is not hard at all IMO. But it is subjective I guess. Finding stock suspension maybe more tricky than not though. Room in the back: Don't know the difference, but there is F all room in the back of the supra. Next to pointless the back seats. Roof: yes, the roof stores in the boot. You'll have no room for anything else in there while the roof is stowed. As for easy or removal, the roof is light, but I suspect 300ZX will be easier due to it being in two pieces. Not sure how 300 roof is attached but, there's 4 bolts (one in each corner) that needs to be tightened / loosened on the Aerotop (supra).
  7. I was with Flux last year. Gave me a decent price compared to the rest. Wasn't the best this year though, but like DNK says, it's different every year.
  8. That is by far the best looking interior I have ever seen in a supra. Just top notch. It looks like it could have come out of the factory like that today. hats off P.s, Brand new handbrake from Toyota required though!
  9. Defo in for some of this, especially the steering wheel cowling. What sort of prices are we looking at, Paul?
  10. Only just noticed this thread. This time it's an aerotop!
  11. So does anyone know where the green car is at? I've not heard anything about that for years and I don't think it was ever finished as far as I know?
  12. Are you talking about the Green with Envy car? If so I was wondering what happened to that.

Nitrous can't be serious, it's a laughing gas..... ba dum cha.
  14. Thanks for the input chaps. My freind is interested in the APR remap. It's odd have they can install it for a 6 hour test drive, but then charge over £500 for it.
  15. What, they we pay to advertise Titan for them?
  16. A chap I work with has the above car. He's thinking of getting a 'stage 1' tune and asked me what I thought so thought I'd post it on here. Basically the stage 1 is a re-map (doesn't mention a piggy back ECU, just a remap...) is that possible with the TT stock ecu? And a uprated BOV. The site claims reasonable gains in power and torque. Thoughts? Here's the link: http://www.vagtech.co.uk/index.php/tuning/audi/mk2-tt-8j
  17. Basically a HID relay is used when there's not enough juice coming through the wiring loom to the headlights to either fire up or keep them running properly. Symptoms maybe that one of both HIDs flicker but don't fire up, they fire up but cut out after a period or a combination of both. The HID relay, which is not very expesensive at all, simply gives the ballast a direct feed from the battery instead of the loom.
