  1. Might email this one off - only problem is the dodgy looking chap with the can in the background!
  2. Be careful not to do that when a lorry is coming past.
  3. Cy Waits seems like he's living the life. Never heard of him but what a profile at his age.
  4. Jesus, they used to be only good for the bin! That's where mine ended up. Drink Horlicks tonight!
  5. Oh, and the most important aspect of any build is the person / place that is doing it. No amount of money can compensate for incompetence.
  6. What about contingency? One has to factor in for the unforeseeable, otherwise they may find themselves in sh!t creek. You can't anticipate a single build to go completely smoothly from start to finish. Something always crops up - I'd be suprised if it didn't, it's par for course.
  7. When something is running out, prices go up - the only thing that can be done is a reduction in fuel tax, but I doubt that is going to happen.
  8. Is that because no one will buy into a relationship with you?
  9. I scored 14, altough I think the one about my parents could have slipped me into the naughty bracket if I actually knew the answer?
  10. Always been asked for NCB proof.
  11. If you're selling your car, don't spend money on new mods - you never get back from you pay for them? It might be worth looking for cheap second hand stuff though, but for all the money you spend on stuff, you could just knock it off the asking price?
  12. Obviously with having the car built from ground up I've got my certificate, but I've never once been asked for one in all my years of driving.
  13. I've never had dealings with grasshopper, just interested to know where your mate went. Hyper were the ones that took me around the houses - lost a hell of a lot of money with them.
  14. Where has that invoice total come from? I’d have to dig out my records to find out exactly how much I paid AFR but it was more than that? Matt did not advice that the car was not fixed. I hoped my car could be repaired for the ace cafe meet and was told it was. So I jumped on a train with another member on here and down we went. I was told by Matt that the car was fixed but didn’t feel like it was putting out a true 450bhp, to which I understood as I was running hybrids that had been supplied, fitted and mapped by Hypersports. I would never have come down if I was told the car wasn’t running properly. I only understood it to not be putting out 450bhp. We got to AFR after being picked up at the train station. I paid and Matt jumped in the Trial Supra as he didn’t want to miss the ACE cafe meet. I got in my car and pulled out of AFR and the car was not right from the go. Matt got lost on the way to the meet; he turned up quite late from memory. It was a long time ago and I before your time. I don’t have any problems with you Dude, which is why I’ve never brought anything up since you started with AFR as I’ve heard you do good things. Perhaps if you were there when I sent my car down things may have been different. I will check my records and determine what I paid at the time. I don't want this to turn into a mud slinging contest - it's been done before. Shall we move on to PM?
