It's the hidden nasties that I'd be worried about. Could look like a brilliant car on the surface of things but only later you could find it to have bad mechanic / electical problems etc. Probably not worth the hassle.

Ah right, that makes more sense. Would be worth going on line and seeing how much his car might be worth. But be careful, as you don't know anything about his car, but you know everything about yours. You may end up loosing out?

How do you know that? Is that info available online? Is it Sky that would have sold customer details on? That's a Sh!tter. I've had my number for yonks too and wouldn't want to loose it. It's been ported back and forward from allmost all, if not all, the UK networks.

Had a call for the second time in a week from the above number. Both times the phone rings, then when I've answered, there's just silence. Digging on the net, it seems like a scam to try and get bank details. If you actually speak to someone, they say they're calling on behalf of Sky (apparently). So just a heads up in you get a call from this number.

Cheers for the link, that sounds good stuff. Price is nothing really well you consider the protection it could give. Certainly better than a refurb! I'll do some research, but if it's as good as it sounds, I'll defo be getting some. Cheers pal.

Ummm, a 98 onwards 1.2 clio would be good if you can get a decent one as the MPG is pretty decent. You'll defo get a diesel escort in that budget, which could return 45mpg average if it's been looked after?
