  2. Okies, needing to order some new brakes for my SZ-R... phoned Toyota in Derby and they quoted 162 quid for front discs and 61 quid for front pads... are they good prices and are the good bits of kit? Anyone have any other suggestions, although I do need them kinda asap (I'm getting fed up repacking the parachute all the time.... )
  3. Sadly, I need to pull out, sorry lads... although I will be driving to Scotland that weekend so will do that in true Gumball style...
  4. surfing was just a clever ruse to say that I'm going for a right good ol' perv.... [OOPS][/OOPS]
  5. Anyone know the laws about stick-on front number plates or smaller plates? Also where can I get them from?
  6. Hmmm, one of the wires in the loom that runs into the cluster had fraid... but a quick inline splice, retape and repositioning of the loom means everything is working satis Cheers for the info guys
  7. I've got the measuring tape at the ready to check clearance once she's fully laden... I might pre-order a new back box
  8. ah.... looked down there but didnt look up... cheers again....
  9. Once everything is packed in again tomorrow morning (we had a trial run today...) I'll take some pics and post them up.
  10. ...where is the internal fuse box?? My warning light cluster on the right hand side of the steering wheel is not illuminating, I'm guessing the fuse....
  11. Well, I'm taking a few days out and heading down to Newquay for some surf with a few mates and thought I would take the Supra. My flat mate will be joining me on the 5 hour drive down, and he's bringing his kit, I've got my kit, got some mates bits of kit...oh, and the bbq.... When my flat mate seen the cavernous black hole that is the Supra boot, he was ready to start loading everything into his Golf.... but with a little bit of imaginative packing we've got it all in!!! The packing list stands at.... 1. 12 man tent (yes a 12 man tent, I'm hoping to use it as a garage for the Supra.... ) 2. 3 man tent 3. Large weekend bag (2 off) 4. Folding travel chair (3 off) 5. Double air bed (2 off) 6. Large air pump (for the double beds) 7. Sleeping bag (3 off) 8. Double duvet and pillows (2 off) 9. BBQ inc charcoal 10. A partridge in a pear tree...... The question is, has anyone managed to pack more into their Supra?!? Answers on a postcard please......
  12. Dark silver Sup, really well polished, although it looks as it has been polished too hard, the rear wing is missing!!! Looks good though
  13. Needing to replace my discs and pads on my J-Spec SZ-R, anyone have any good recommendations or dealers? Thanks
  14. Yeah, I was offered a postion but Rolls-Royce offered me another job and I took that (now I'm wishing I hadn't!!!) That's rubbish that NATS won't tell you where you went wrong, I don't understand why companies/organisations do that. Anyways, all the best again, March will come around soon!!
  15. Laura, I was offered a position on the training course at the end of last year after all the exams and interviews, as you well know its a tough selection course!! The only thing I can suggest is to keep trying, it will eventually come. Have you asked NATS about what specific areas you failed in? Finding as much info can only make you stronger in those areas. Also, there is a website that you can download questions from, it's American though, but I can't remember it off the top of my head but I'll have a rumage through the grey matter and if I remember I'll PM you. Anyways, best of luck and keep plugging away at it, if you sound as keen as you are then you'll succeed.
  16. Just realised that I'm in Newquay next weekend, thought it was the weekend after, rookier error I'll defo make the next one though
  17. I'll come along too... what time we meeting up at?
