  1. Ahhh, the atari ST......I had one of them too, I remember the massive borders around the screen, along with the poor sound chip. Though aesthetically, much better than the Amiga. bit like the 360 v ps3 today
  2. You should have bought the original then instead of the dreamlight cracked one
  3. Win UAE does the loud loading noises too You have the option to turn it off, also, you can increase the load speed by 800%. It still does the disk drive noises, just very very fast
  4. J1mbob1's car is nicer than that one.
  5. Is your engine getting up to operating temperature (IE, your stat isn't stuck open?)
  6. Thanks very much Charlotte, it's like an early xmas present
  7. I did my MR2 altenator, although I had a single side exit exhaust (left side ) so I didn't have to worry about that, and mine was a turbocharged manual with the probably smaller altenator. If you remove the O/S exhaust hangar bolts, (4 of them I beleive) I reckon you could push the exhuast down enough to pull the altenator out.
  8. When you switch it to hottest setting, are you sure it's pushing to the full extent of its travel, and not getting stuck halfway. In the passenger footwell, watch the actuator arm move as you adjust the dial to hot, then when it stops, see if it'll travel further with a bit of persuasion.
  9. Just got off the phone to the other half, pencilled in a window of racing for tonight, ........................providing I meet certain criteria beforehand.
  10. If you wanted to go one further with verifying the fault, I've heard you can remove the sensor and stick it in a lemon overnight to clean it. Then stick it back in to see if it makes a difference.
  11. I used mine at supra pod 07 at the gates.
  12. I'll do my best to get on tonight.
  13. There are a few white supras round here, but he's the only one with GFX down the doors as far as I'm aware.
  14. So does a christmas morning BJ, I'm quite looking forward to mine
  15. I think on a street car, the Ridox bumper with the token carbon lip that comes with the bumper is the best option. Geo already has this I believe. I have the slightly cheaper full FG option but I'm looking into getting the lower section wrapped in carbon effect. To pull of the lip shown in this post, I think you need the rest of the ridox kit to pull it off, (the arches etc). Otherwise it's a bit OTT IMO.

    Volvo C70

My parents have an 08 model with the hard top folding roof. Thats about all I know though.
  17. Sorry matt, I have to concur with the above posts mate. The brands hatch Nigel Mansell experience I did years ago in the little formula fords was the best I've ever done. 10 laps of 1600 CVH madness. They were flagging me on every corner to slow me down, but hey, sod em, short of jumping in front of the car, I wasn't slowing down for anyone. They staggered started 18 of us from the pits, 10 laps later, I had overtaken all but one other driver. My mate has done the rally experience there, and they only reason they shouted at him, was because he wouldn't put his foot down enough in the escort cossie.
  18. I get a slight chatter when reversing slowly, I put it down to the notoriously noisey getrag 6sp. I had a 6 puck clutch in it when I bought it and THAT was noisey, I replaced it with a nice stock toyota jobby and it's much better, I only get a slight chatter in reverse.
  19. Sweet, Just wanted to make sure I'm not forgotten.
  20. I still play amiga games on winUAE. Moonstone is a favourite 4 player romp along with pinball fantasies and pinball illusions. I played through Another World and flashback the other day and surprised myself at remembering every part of every level. Another world took 30 mins to finish on the first go
  21. I don't want to moan.............but I've still not got mine......
  22. Welcome to the club mate, good luck in your search. If on your searches you find any potential purchases that aren't on this club, let us know about it and I'm sure a local member would be kind enough to have a gander for you. Give me a shout if you see any in the South East London area.
  23. Yeah yeah, I've heard that before Welcome to the club matey.
  24. Save your pennies dude for a TT. Welcome to the club
  25. I can imagine for some that new years day may be a bit tough, what with family commitments and hangovers to deal with I'm still game though.
