    Speedo

The limiter is a factory fit on all J-specs, so it's not it's fitting thats in question, it's the fact that you haven't had it bypassed by a delimiter. If the garage you bought it from had de-limited it, with a proper speed convertor, there would have been no need to change the dial face to a 112mph clock. the limit in japan is 180kmh, so all they've done is stick a face on it for 112mph, which in my opinion is the cheap ass way of doing it. A proper speed convertor would have changed the reading for the speedo to MPH, so the existing km/h clock is reading in MPH. If I were you, I'd de-limit it properly with a thor speed convertor/de-limiter, then get some new dial faces in MPH from http://www.speedhut.net (make sure you say it's a RHD car). Once you have it all fitted, check your reading using a GPS. If it's still reading high, I would drive along with a GPS reading the speed with the needle removed, once I got to 20mph steady, I'd stick the needle back on.
  2. You're probably not the only one Good luck matey.
  3. I knew I'd seen that car before http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=190527 Turns out Williams NA didn't have it very long. Welcome to the forum mate. Out of interest, what do you intend to do with the engine to make it suitable for the single?
  4. is that boss for an airbag model car?
  5. Jez will have a few too if you've had no joy. Failing that, what about some awesome Ksport 6 pots from whifbitz. Huge discs with stunning calipers, the full kit for less than a grand.!
  6. Maybe worth going to Keron for a used set off a late model breaker? Can't imagine they'd be expensive.
  7. If the suspension components such as the arms and bushes have been in a settled state of lopsidedness for a length of time sue to saggy springs previously, I'm thinking it may take some time for them to technically, re-adjust to the level you've got it set with the coilovers. Just drive it around for a few months to see if it settles.
  8. I'm pretty sure a few of them are dead, maybe this should be in the NWS section.
  9. Very cool, my 2 year old boy loved looking through them
  10. Turn the console on, let it update, say hello to the supra in your career garage
  11. I only made it in for the last two races. At the start of the first race, my head was still in NFS shift so I stuck it in reverse off the line by mistake causing issues before the first corner.......my bad Then, on the second race, I cleaned up
  12. its free on all platforms.
  13. I picked this up the other day after I heard the supra was made availbale (for free ). I've tuned it a fair bit already.......my word, it's a beast I was impressed by the attention to detail. When you do the cabin upgrades, a boost gauge goes in place of the heater vent.
  14. I'm gonna be online in a sec, can someone invite me in
  15. I was on about the mirrors. http://www.replikit.co.uk/aprr/mirrors/mirrorssupra93.htm
  16. Nev, does Sam still do the commentary ?, she cracked me up last time

    hey

Welcome ................ Is it a supra?
  19. Rub down dash and spray matt black. Thinking of having the rev counter a white el-glo dial in contrast to my other black reverse el-glo dials (carrerra GT style) Fit a AEM AFR gauge in the place where the current stock dimmer switch is so it mirrors my AEM TRu Boost gauge on the other side. Pioneer P4100dvd double din h/unit to go in with reverse camera New leather gear lever gaiter, to be trimmed in the same leather that I get my seats retrimmed in. Apexi induction kit to replace the power induction kit on at present. hybrid stage 1 turbos from Mr Whiffen. respray horrid gold cam cover, fuse box cover and relay cover in black. K-sport 8 pot front brake kit (UK set to be sold soon ) Get a custom sport CAT fitted to the center DECAT pipe.
  20. Sorry to see this matey, yo could always use this as an excuse to go for some ganador carbon jobbies
  21. If the clutch and flywheel in yours is in good condition, you could probably sell it secondhand to one of the big power boys on here. You would then be able to probably buy a new genuine toyota flywheel and clutch kit. If that's the total spec of your car in your sig, you certainly don't need a twin plate in there.
  22. Do you have a delimiter on the car? If so, I'd look into this first. There have been many reported problems in the past of cheap de-limiters failing causing issues. To more or less confirm it, check for disgnostic codes and see of 42 comes up.
