Welcome matey, though you sound conflicted in what you're after TBH. You considered an escort?, which must mean you're talking about up to Mk2 if you must have RWD, but they are nothing at all like the supra...not even close. Also, the cheap to crash comment, are you planning on tracking the car?, if so, the tip box cars are late models which I wouldn't want to see wrapped around an armco. I'd also suggest that supras, irrespective of model, are never cheap to crash
  5. My mate has a maserati.......POS if you ask me. Costs the earth to repair too.
  6. Check for vac pipes that may have popped off, including the two on the HUGE oil cap thing.
  7. Congrats mate, must be nice knowing you can play with them all you want, then give them back when they start to annoy you I hope for your sake she doesn't read that, lol.
  8. I agree, it has all the boxes ticked that the supra does. Timeless looks, huge imposing styling, excellent performance. The only thing I doubt it'll match is the tuning aftermarket stuff. Still, if I ever get a pair of sensible trousers, the XKR will be well on the radar. But that'll be after my venture into yank territory with my next purchase being a 2ss 2010 Camaro.
  9. That RX7 was very nice, awesome stance, though I doubt it was very user friendly at that height. I don't have any online photos of a lot of my old cars. Here's my old MR2 turbo
  10. Thanks very much Jim, I'd really appreciate that
  11. Good job this guy had a roll cage, he'd have been seriously injured without one. http://www.streetfire.net/video/Mazda-Miata-Flips-at_733372.htm
  12. http://www.caraudioni.com/ Their car stereos seem considerably cheaper than anywhere else. I was wondering whether anyone has bought anything off them in the past and what was their service like? Cheers
  13. I want one of these too, DnK, can you provide a link to where you bought yours?
  14. did you use a dremel to polish the cam cover?
  15. If you take the arm off and measure it, you could source some from a place like this http://www.southwalesprops.co.uk/propshaft/consumables/ball_joint.htm http://www.balljointboots.co.uk/
  16. Really,? I also remember your mate chatting up the car full of dirty slappers last time too.
  17. Lol, thats rich, me and Jimojamseo were there on the dot, and if I remember rightly you turned up last out of everyone. In fact, some people had been and gone by the time you showed.
  18. Ok, tell you what. If it's not gone by Tuesday (My next day off), I'll drive down to you to pick it up, saves with posting farce, and I get an excuse to take the supe out. Also, if you're feeling kind, we can make sure it fits my airbag car by fitting it there and then
  19. Full advert here. > http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1508923.htm
  20. Are you saying that's the only difference in the boss's between airbag and non airbag models. As the price difference suggests there's more to it than a couple of wires.
