  1. Having repaired the buggered bit, I've decided that the paint is still to soft on the rest of the parts to fit yet. I left them overnight in my garage, but I don't think the cold night air has hardened the paint at all. So I've brought them inside to bake a bit in front of the fire. Check the finish
  2. It doesn't say that it has specific ipod functionality so I reckon it'll just see it as a mass storage device, if so, it won't control or charge the ipod.
  3. Just so you know, I doubt that unit will charge the ipod from the USB, and you won't be able to control the ipod from the stereo itself. You have to use the ipod the change tracks (annoying on the move) and when the battery dies in the ipod, thats it,. you have to take it out and charge it from your PC. Long journeys can get even longer when your ipod battery dies
  4. I just phoned the guy at caraudiosecurity and he stated the 4100 is gold dust and he's sold out. He should be getting them in for the end of the week at £429.99
  5. They don't have the model I'm after. I want the pioneer AVH P4100dvd
  6. nice one Jim, thanks very much for your help buddy
  7. CR turbos will do it for around £600
  8. Yes, these are removed when you have spats fitted.
  9. When I got my current supra, these weren't fitted either......looks odd without them.
  10. Jim, have you had a look yet mate, My finger is hovering over the buy now button.
  11. White spirit with brillo wire wool oven cleaner pads. It's messy, but it comes off fairly easy. Oh, I need a new gear lever gaiter too, time to start browsing.........
  12. I decided to take the dash out today and start to prep for paint. I got quite a bit done but gave up when I ran out of light. I managed to get all the rubber stuff off fairly easily, and then primed the parts. I'm spraying them gloss black, I managed to get 4 coats on tonight, but then messed up the ignition key portion when I tried to put it all back together before letting it dry properly A few flakes fell off around the ignition key bit when I pushed the plastic ring thing back into place. So, I'll rub that part down and respray it tomorrow followed by fitting the rest of it. I'll post up more pics when it's done. -------------------------------------- The rings arrived from the tuning shop (ebay) so I thought I'd get some pics for you. The only thing left to do is get a new leather gaiter for the gear surround and the handbrake. What do you think?
  13. Blimey, thats not good mate. Don't forget to look after yourself while you're watching out for Sam, try to sleep and eat properly (its easy to forget when you're full of nothing but worry). Fingers crossed she gets well soon matey.
  14. No wonder you didn't need airbags in those days with hair that big Nice pics BTW
  15. I'll be there again, I'm gonna spend the whole day cleaning and waxing. I'm also gonna try something new.....you'll never guess what it is, I've only ever seen it done on one supra before
  16. Supras with no front plate = win Very very nice supe.
  17. Great work bud can you get a video clip of her running please?, I'm a sucker for yank muscle burble.
  18. As mentioned before, check the coolant pipes that feed the matrix through the bulkhead, myt old supe leaked there. It's kind of pointless saying where the puddles are, as all supras are fitted with under trays. These trays catch the water from where ever it's leaking from and drip from the same place. Your best bet is get your head under the bonnet when it's running and poke around. You'll find it eventually. Coolant leaks I've seen before on the supra are :- Matrix pipes cracked radiator (plastic next to rad cap splits) water pump 2 little turbo coolant pipes (just to left of where L-shaped rad pipe goes towards the engine)
  19. I'd imagine 19's on stock suspension would be a tad questionable. But if you slap some decent coilvers on to compensate for the increased rolling radius, and get the geo sorted they're not an issue. I never had my 19s on stock suspension so can't comment, though my 19's with the mods mentioned have no ill effect on handling as far as I'm concerned.
  20. Can this be fitted from inside the car, or do you need to get access underneath?
  21. Use this http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ Put the stock rim in, then your new ones. It'll tell you the inner and outer difference. And nic is correct as per usual

    hi to all

Nice car, I found another pic of it for you..
  23. If you drive around bluewater on the circle road surrounding it, as you pass the cinema on the right, we meet in the car park after it, on the second floor.
