  1. So when you click scan for networks, it can't find it?
  2. Seen this type of thing loads of times, when I used to work for Fords, an elderly guy came in with a burnt clutch on his brand new Escort. Fitted a new one, only to see him back a week later with the same thing. After the third clutch the workshop controller went out on a test drive with him. Turns out the silly old git thought the car was an auto so was driving everywhere in 4th.
  3. Threw a rod on an NA?, was it stock? Edit to add, Keron has probably got loads of these lying about, give him a shout.
  4. I still keep giggling at the thought of that old woman trying to squeeze one out on your bed Are you sure it wasn't a prank?
  5. I contacted the Veilside UK contact dept last year about stuff for my s2000. I was told then that the jap side of things had all but stopped and they were now only catering for the high end market, lambos, ferraris etc.
  6. They shouldn't have had you on a geriatric ward, I've been in one myself and after three nights I hopped out of hospital (keyhole knee surgery). I didn't even hang around for them to bring me the release forms to sign, I'd simply had enough. I hadn't eaten anthing for the duration of my stay. My experience wasn't as bad as yours, no one tried to poo on me. But the smell, my god, if aids had a smell, it would have smelt like that ward. Good luck with the recovery mate, lots of day time TV will have you back to 100% in no time
  7. The IMV films are all very good, but you may need to rip them from youtube.
  8. Super speeders is pretty cool. Lots of rich yanks driving hyper cars across the states behaving like kids.
  9. Dash is all finished and back in, new dial rings ordered, I'll get some pics up when I get the chance.
  10. You guys are bigging it up too much, it's nothing that extravagant
  11. Quality. If you're unsure, you can go for OEM toyota discs, there's nothing wrong with them. When it comes to brakes, unless I was going for one of the known big brake kits like the D2's, I'd steer clear of ebay. Brakes is one area where you don't want to skinp.
  12. 10 4 snowman.........I'm east bound and down! Nope, no radios or butterflys involved.
  13. No, but the idea is spawned from an old American muscle car aspect
  14. Here.... If Paul Whiffen sells them, then your in good hands to say the product is top notch http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?/Toyota/Supra/Brake-Parts/Brake-Pads/View-all-products.html The pads you want are the ones listed for UK spec brakes (bigger ones) Same with the discs matey, you want the ones listed for UK spec cars http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?/Toyota/Supra/Brake-Parts/Brake-Discs/View-all-products.html
  15. They look like the bigger ones mate. Good for braking, bad for replacing
  16. I really need to know how to do that polishing lark
  17. Jack both back wheels off the ground, release the handbrake, make sure you're in neutral (chock the front wheels with something first to stop your car rolling away ). Then spin the wheels. They should spin fairly easily. Have a look for anything obvious.
  18. I've been put off the shiny reflective laquered look, it's a bit too in ya face for my liking. Apparently sun reflections can be a pain with the shiny dash.
  19. My last supra had it's dash sprayed silver, but this car being silver I thought it might be a bit OTT. I also saw another members car with a black dash with chrome rings, that sold it to me TBH, I much preferred it to the silver.
