Sounds like pinking, or pre ignition. Obviously it could also be the butterfly as linked in the post above, but the fact it gets louder on harder acceleration and dies when the turbos come online suggests it could be a fuelling error. It's been mentioned that TTC is bad without other supporting mods to get rid of the flat spot mid range. Put it back to stock just in case.

You put the stock measurements in the top, then your new wheels measurements in the next one http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ You'll be able to see what the difference will be, as Jamie says, stock offsets are pretty tame, and makes the wheel appear to be set right back into the arch. Use the above calculator to see the difference. Also bear in mind that width has an effect on offset. The stock rear is -50 with a width of 9.5, Obviously a 10 inch wide wheel with the same offset will not sit in the same place. Don't go buying 12 inch wide wheels with a similar offset and expect them to fit. Also, just so you know, the wheels you're looking at will not accomodate UK spec brakes, I know you said your car is a JDM, but so is mine, and I have the larger brakes

I'm holding out for the reviews. I've heard some horrible things about the battle system. apparently, you can only control one character, and not the whole squad. When your character dies, thats it, battle over. The NPC's do not have the ability to rez you . Sounds pretty different to any other FF game, so I'm not sure if I'll take to it. Also, the summons are just plain gay, Shiva used to be a naked ice chick, now she looks more like one of the wheelies from return to OZ, with a twin sister who join together and turn into a bike which your character rides. Ifrit is now a car lifted straight from Grease that does burnouts on the baddies, whatever happened to the badass dragon that shot a whopping ball of fire from it's gob.

Thats not right I'm afraid. Unless you've put a convertor in it, it'll still be in km/h. To get away with just changing the dial, you'd need a speedo that stops at around 112mph (my FTO had one)

As above really mate. With regard to the primer, halfrauds do plastic primer which adheres to the surface better than normal car spray primer. This means that it hopefully won't crack and flake off months later when you drop your keys/ipod/cd case on the surface. I've just done mine but I'm waiting for new chrome rings from the tuning shop (ebay) before I update with pics......it looks a million times better already though

when the police turned up, did they report it or did they just ask you to exchange details? If the police have reported it, you may have some evidence for your appeal. However, if they decided there was no injury and was 'damage only', they are not obliged to report it, just to ensure you exchange details. You've dropped the ball by not informing your insurance company straight away, you say there was no damage, but sufficient time has elapsed for him to suggest you've had it repaired to cover it up. Your insurance company are suggesting that you've not declared a claim against you. Therefore breaching your terms of agreement. Your only option is to say something along the lines of "I was, and still am convinced I was in no way liable for the accident or it's cause. If anything I was a witness and innocent bystander so I had no reason to believe I should inform my insurance"

Mine failed on emmisions due to it needing a cat test. Tricky, when you say there are no figures on the database, I'm afraid there is. The model code JZA80 is across the range so it comes up when typed in. It will be all down to the tester I'm afraid, but going by the book, it won't pass without a cat in.

Subscribed. being that it's a bare metal respray, are you not tempted to respray a different colour.? HOK candy paints are all well and good, until you want/need a local repair job doing, then you're stuffed. If it were mine, I'd be tempted with red, black, yellow, gunmetal, lime green or even silver. I would say white but Hodge is already well on the way with his aerotop TRD.

Erm, if you don't have a wireless N router, it won't work. You've bought the wireless N adapter for ultra high speed connections mainly used for streaming HD stuff. Wireless N is the latest fastest wireless, most people only have the older two types.

I take it you bought the 360 wireless dongle and you're not just using a carphone warehouse jobby.? Also, are you plugging the dongle into the rear USB port on the 360. I don't think it works on the fronts. Try unplugging it, turning the power back on, then turning off, plug it back in and power up again.
