  1. Job done Had a mare with the metal pipe at the back, ended up just taking the whole thing off rather than wrestle with it. Dude was right, the baffle is below the PCV valve hole so the rubber was sitting at a little box section that I managed to fish out with needle nose pliers.
  2. I agree, commentary FTW, do a Jamie P style presentation "here is my Blue NA facelift supra.......not sure what the wheels are, nothing else I know about really" Then get in the car and hold the phone just in front of the speedo and say, "right, lets see what she goes like". Floor it up to about 70mph, then say "she goes ok". Job done.
  3. They're the wheels that were fitted to vin diesels RX7 in the first F&F. I think they were called Veilside andrews http://www.freewebs.com/superbelachelijkesnotaap/rx-7%20fef.jpg
  4. Now I'm forced to take the cam covers off, I've been putting it off to pay someone else to do it Two issues I had when I tried it last time. The bastard bolts at the back were blocked by a pipe which I didn't want to remove, now I'll have to. The other is the loom that has the wires for the coil pack coming off it, the big one that goes over (just behind) the cam shaft sprockets would not move an inch last time I tried to lift it off. I didn't want to force it in case something broke.........I've no choice now
  5. Blimey, that was quick abz Choose the next on then. how about supra stuck in a garage because there's a bit of plastic somewhere inside the engine ?
  6. Hmm, does the baffle run below the hole where the PCV valve goes?
  7. Saw you too royboy, your cars coming along nicely by the looks of it.
  8. Virgin 50mb......is the shit £30 per month, unlimited downloads, not speed capped during peak hours.
  9. Nah, it'll just be sitting next to the cam, there's nowhere for it to go. It means I can't run it though

    Whoops.

Got home from work today a bit early, so I thought I'd wack my new PCV valve on. I pulled the old one off easliy enough, then, when it came to removing the plastic gromit thing in the cam cover that the valve sits in. The outer part broke off being all brittle with age, and the rest fell into the engine........cam covers off then
  11. Having looked at your pics in your garage, you'd be mad to sell!!. Such a lovely machine. I've read that your have a welded diff, having been in a car with one fitted ( a drift s13), I thought it was horrid, no doubt it's putting undue pressure on your G/box components whenever you're cornering, and the weakest link is the clutch, so I reckon you're right in that it's the source of the clutch wearing issue. As for the fire, electrics seem like a dauting issue, but when you get stuck in, there's not really much to it. Get a section of the loom you need from Keron and splice it in. Continuity check all your wiring afterwards and go from there. You've obviously put a massive amount of work into it, I promise you'll regret it.
  12. If that mileage is genuine and the car is mint, I'd not say it's 4k overpriced at all.
  13. Google translator c'est de la foutaise, mais bienvenue au club de toute façon
  14. Really great effort Jay. . So from the ultimate feeling of guttedness, to the seriously good satisfaction of doing all that work yourself, (albeit with a little help from friends). You must be feeling pretty good about it all really.
  15. Chrome rings £48 delivered from the tuning shop (ebay).
  16. Thats the best thing about the SE lot, when you attend the bigger meets when there's camping and beer etc etc, there are plenty of freindly faces you already know which makes it a hoot I'm really looking forward to the big meets later this year. I owe a few drinks to members who have helped me over the years.
  17. AWESOME PICS!!. I love the candy red one with the yellow, your bro has the eye for a good picture
  18. Nice to meet you Steve, that turbo you have bolted on there is bloody enormous!!
  19. See you there chaps...and possibly chappesses.
