  1. Have you got the Big brake brembos on your gt? if so, do those wheels fir over them ok?
  2. I think you'll be able to get a set with tyres for around £1500
  3. You don't need spacers on the GTLM wheels. I have 275's on the back of mine and they still look slightly stretched.
  4. They do them in other finishes too, hyper silver being one of them, so they would look even more like double 6's. However with the trouble I've had with polished alloy finshed wheels going rotten with our crappy roads, I thought it better to go with a wheel with a more durable finish.
  5. Blimey.....I think the main problem with the VS kit is that there so many badly fitted examples out there it gives it a bad name. However, you've clearly pulled it off mate. Great effort, looking forward to the finished result with some higher res pics
  6. Classic Staring at the picture for a while makes me think how cool would it look, dropped slightly on nice wheels. It has got nice lines which would suit the retro modded style nicely I think, AE86 ish.
  7. Blimey, it does look clean and well cared for. I'd be interested to see a compression test result with that mileage. It'd show all the newcomers that come into the club saying "looking for a mint low mileage supra", that mileage really isn't an issue if it's been cared for.
  8. yes mate, but on the middle floor, one car park along. It shouldn't be to difficult to spot us
  9. Here arer some pics of them fitted, I can't find any with then fitted to supras so you'll just have to use your imagination.....until mine arrive
  10. Ahhh, custard. is rhubarb coming down this time too?
  11. I've had a bit of an issue with peeling laquer on the polished lip section of the wheels. I let Paul know, and he has been brilliant. He contacted me today and said that his supplier will replace the wheels under warranty, and that he needed the numbers from the inside of the wheels for the warranty claim. On looking at the stamp on the inside of the rim, I noticed they said Linea Corse on them. "I've never heard of them" I thought, so I googled it. I looked on the international site and saw the GTLM's on there along with 7 other wheels, none of which are Rota, but the DYNA's caught my eye. I knew who Pauls supplier was and cheekily asked them if I could have the DYNA's instead, to which he replied "yup, no problem", but that I may have to wait for them to be brought in. Job done, new and unique wheels for me Paul has been a legend once again being his usual helpful self, and I'd like to mention Julian at Rarerims is also a bloomin nice chap. Watch this space for fitted pics once they arrive
  12. They are 19's. 10" rear - 8.5" front. Rarerims can get them, but you have to be prepared to wait for them to be imported.
  13. Nope, not fox. They are Linea Corse, which is a sister company of Rota. They'll be arriving at my door in 6 - 8 weeks Glad you lot approve
  14. Oh and you have to park in a seperate car park. but don't worry, you'll be able to see the TT's from where you are
  15. Gutted I'm going to miss this, I'm working all weekend and can't get the time off I'd love to watch all those other machines getting served up by a 15 year old Toyota.....................good times

    hello

Hi Benu, nice supra !. What are those wheels you're putting on it? I like them a lot
  17. I knew my thread would come in handy one day http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=203624&highlight=fog+light+led
  18. If you have to do it more than once, you're doing it wrong

    idea...

Someone has mentioned doing something similar before, he even posted example pics which were frankly, quite amazing. However, I think his idea failed when it came to price, it was quite expensive due to the time he put into each piece of work.
  20. Banzai runner, old 80's film at its best, you expect it to break out into porn at any moment Tried to find a trailer on yoututbe, but it turns out the whole film is on there in several chunks, so I'll not link to it. Also, Black Moon rising. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJQIkb0s4hU
  21. I used quicktime to listen to them.
  22. it doesn't sound like it's turbo related to me from them clips. The noise is directly related perfectly to engine speed. I'd check the pulleys at the front, then I'd remove the aux belt and run it again. If it's affected performance, check your viscous fan isn't sticky.
  23. The stock bulbs have condom things over them for some reason, take them off and it makes them much brighter. Here are a couple of pics to show the difference - my dials are indiglo dials so the bulbs have no effect on them, but the needles are still illuminated by the bulbs, and you can see how much brighter they are after removing the condoms BEFORE AFTER
  24. I can't play them files mate for some reason.
