  1. I imagine someone may have had a gauge in there before and broken the clips on refitting (the hole is the perfect size for a 52mm gauge ) To get the panel off, remove the gear surround first, it just lifts out. Then you'll be able to remove the panel with the clock.
  2. Go for it mate, BPU too. I'm not sure what cars you've driven before, but you need to be awake with 400hp under your right foot
  3. You're only really 1k off what you're looking to spend anyway. I'm sure the guy will take an offer . Go on, go for it, it's a stunning example.
  4. Just to make matter more complicated for you, how about this members car which is clearly a cared for example..... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=216648 Raise your budget a bit and go for this tidy number....facelift too http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=217186 Or my personal choice, this stunning example. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=212532
  5. Facelift came in 96/97, search on here for what the changes are ( all cosmetic ). Neither of the cars you're looking at are facelifts.

  7. Mark Newman has one. I don't know whether he's selling it, I only know because it was in the car years ago when I sold it 3 owners ago
  8. Hmm, sounds like a bit of a bodge fix for a potentially serious underlying issue. I'd not be too keen on masking it with a adjusting arm that extends excessivly further than what Toyota decided was the max. I'd be looking into whats possibly bent and have it rectified, it may be more expensive, but it's piece of mind at the end of the day.
  9. Have a play with this little calculator tool..... http://www.morfed.net/wheel-offset-calculator/ You can see that width has an effect on offset, so there's a fair bit to factor in. And no, ET 12 will not fit Your wheels should really be staggered in width mate, it's not just about offset, the wider rears have an effect on handling that toyota factored into the cars design. Wider rears = more grip and promote understeer to ease control. + Wide rear wheels look Edit to add, your say your car is low, do you intend to modify the arches?, if not, I think you might want to take a look at my garage. My car is low, has 10" rears with 43 offset. It sits literally 2mm from the lip of the arch, I get no rubbing at all. Any more aggressive on the offset with a low stance will require arch fettling.
  10. I prefer the look of this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1549378.htm
  11. I have to say it's the 1st one even though it's not BPU like the second. Gram light wheels are nice and tasteful, and expensive. I really don't like the bodykit combo on the second, the side skirts don't match the rest of it. Like others have said, the wheels on the second are also pretty poor. The 1st one also has the bigger brake option (a good selling point IMHO). I see the second one has leather, but this is a cheaper thing to get done later than buying the bigger brakes. Have a look at both of them, and see first hand which one appears to have been cared for more. Two things on the first that stand out is the cheap induction kit is right next to the turbos, so it'll be suffering serious heat soak I'd imagine, it needs to be brought forward so it's behind the headlamp area. The car also seems to still be fitted with the odd front radiator fan which goes disgustingly rotten, use this as a haggling tool to bring the price down a bit, then get the car home and rip it off, 99% of supras I've seen never have that fan fitted, so it's not important, just looks gash
  12. I know exactly how you're feeling mate, sorry for your loss. Chin up dude.
  13. My turbos are being fitted back onto the car now. Ill update with the result when finished
  14. Yeah, they came back, but they cost more than orginally stated. I've just had one of them months where shit cost me big time. Wifes mondeo needed all new brakes, car tax for the supra crept up on me, turbos cost £130 more than anticipated, someone tried to break into my house and cost me £100 in repairs to the front door they damaged......
  15. I'm not gonna be there fellas, I've been ruined financially this month with one serious expenditure after another..................gutted
  16. Thanks for the various lists fellas, I've had my xperia X10 for a week and I'm loving it
  17. Nice, where's the oil filler cap gone?
  18. Got a call this evening to say they're done, hopefully get them couriered back tomorrow, then Chris has to pull a miracle out of his ass to get them fitted
  19. After being left a bit dissapointed with MW2, especially the disjointed single player campaign, can EA take the crown from activision with their latest MOH game? Check this trailer for 60fps greatness http://www.gametrailers.com/video/leave-a-medal-of/65314 Personally, I'm looking for something a bit fresh compared to COD games, and hope this one delivers.
  20. Abz, my wife spotted your car getting dropped off at Chris's today, she was about to phone me and say she thought she saw my car being towed.
