  1. I doubt they're a member on here. If they're sight is impaired to the point they're fitting pink wheels, there's no chance they'll find the forum
  2. I know it's not an evo, but I had a fling with a WRX STI Scooby (similar) which was fettled to the tune of 350bhp........it lasted less than 6 months, back in the supra we go
  3. , you can convoy in with us mate, we'll keep an eye on you. To be fair, if we lose sight of you, we should probably go to specsavers.
  4. 1 week? ....... I've been waiting nearly 10 weeks for my sodding new wheels from the US
  5. Haha, I was just talking to supraturbochris about changing my crank pulley too after seeing that thread Turbos are going fine mate. I've got them on 1.25bar at the moment, I don't want them pushing any harder until I get some standalone fuel control implemented. I also need to get the car on a rolling road to see what the fueling is like with the mines ECU.
  6. U Lift off light throttle with an induction kit and youll hear it on all supras
  7. Do-luck double 6's are nice.........now I'm struggling.
  8. Very nice, your rev counter ring is about to fall off though.
  9. That'll be supraturbochris. I swear that boy lives in his car.
  10. Guy in the background is gonna cross thread that wheel nut if he's not careful @ TJP wheelchair comment !!
  11. Haha, I hope he means possibly....otherwise he's going on my ignore list
  12. I have to do this on the day, got the warning email last week. Hopefully I'll be near teapot 1
  13. Yup, that was me. On my way home after a busy night duty.
  14. Glad it was a relatively cheap fix for you mate, you've had some shocking luck lately with that car
  15. The veyron is an amazing machine. Even when it's serving the GTR's, it seems effortless. If he locked his spoiler down, he'd go even quicker.
  16. CR turbos did the work on refurbing them. Total cost for new seals, shafts, uprated internals with new impellers and new actuators £839. Supraturboschris removed and refitted them for me, but having spoken to Paul whiffen about doing the work, you're looking at £500 labour to remove and refit. The easiest way of doing it if you haven't got a trusted indy garage local to you who knows supras, is to probably get Paul Whiffen to do the lot. He can supply stage 1 refurbed hybrids fitted for about £1500. A little more money, but you get it all done under one roof. I managed to save a little money by utilising supraturbochris's skills with a spanner.
  17. Welcome to the forum mate. I was ready to jump on the **NA first bandwagon** with the others, but having read your comments, you do genuinely seem like a sensible young man (the fact that you're not speaking in TXT goes a long way). I would simply say go easy in the TT mate, they give the impression of sedate progressive power, then when you're not ready, it'll bite your head off. The stock traction control system is shocking so won't save you in your moment of need. One thing I will add though, your budget will not get you a nice example TT. It'll probably be a bit of a money pit, (these cars are not cheap to run) and you'll be constantly throwing money at a car which isn't worth it from the start. My advice is spend the same money on an NA and you'll get a much cleaner example. Ultimately a car that won't set your hair on fire with performance, but looks the dogs. Providing the car you get has been looked after, it'll be uber reliable.
  18. Trike!!. Nutter, but it works. http://www.streetfire.net/video/frogman-tim-cotterills-rocket-ii-trike_2012550.htm
  19. I'm really stocked for this years pod day.......not sure if I'll be dragging the supe or not though, I'm too mechanically sympathetic and don't want to break her
