Resolution wise it is, but running GT5 side by side, one at 720p and the other at 1080p, they're actually better in 720p. In 720p, the game runs 4x msaa, which apparently actually improves the cars shadowing, in 1080p mode, the game (not the menus or the photomode) is actually running in 1280 by 1080 upscaled by the RSX to 1080p (1980x1080). Though if you can play the game and actually see a difference between them, your eyes must be something special.

It has full damage modelling. The difference between this and the likes of Forza will be in the details. The amount of polish GT5 has in presentation and attention to detail sets it apart from its competitors.

Don't buy the 55 samsung LED. It has issues with Halo glare in the corners. The big LG is better.

Really? The lights on my Jspec are glass UK's and they look just like Ellis's.

That was back in Sept 09, I've yet to see one bit of footage or picture with the car flipping over. I've seen them get to a certain angle, then they stop. Just like all other GT games.

I'm not sold on the 3d fad. Having seen a film in 3d, then in standard HD. I preferred the HD version. Less strain on the eyes, and much more detail in focus at any given time.

Just have both like the house of Pistonbroke.
