I think it's a pretty good idea, you're obviously not going to be tasked with building it yourself. You'll be overseen by the likes of Mr Priest in the video. You're paying for a weeks apprenticeship where you might press a couple of buttons to lower the machines that torque the head bolts up and the big claw thing that puts the enormous clutch on .......hand built my arse It's a monster of an engine though ain't it

Supraturbochris has decided to throw in the towel on my call out.....he's taking his car off the road for some major work (which I'll not disclose). I think he wants to make sure he wins when we eventually go toe to toe

You're mad dude, I take it your car still has the missfire problem, yet you're driving it like you stole it, bouncing it off the limiter. I'm guessing here, but your hot turbo suggests it's not being cooled sufficiently, and the loss of oil would make me look towards the oil feed/drain linked to the turbo. Good luck.

Can you hear the motor clicking?, if not, it's knacked. If it is clicking away, and adjustment has no effect on boost, try swapping the hoses round on the two connections on the controller. It may be that they are back to front, that's the error I had breifly when supraturbochris re-fitted my new hybrids.

Seven years.....wow. Longest I've owned a car is 18 months, and I was gutted to see that go after what is a comparitively short time. Still, you open up endless possibilities going stateside. Cheap fuel means you'll be able to run a viper daily over there and still be better off Good luck dude, I take it you're still going to hang around on here.?

I think you need a boost controller, not an FMIC. Though they do look good, the stock SMIC in good nick is more than efficient enough for bpu.
