  1. I've paid for camping for myself, and my cousin who's coming down from Wales for the drifting.
  2. Here's the post I made a while back on their forums. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/other-news-events/114766-supra-pod-youre-all-invited.html Seems to have started gathering steam
  3. I never suggested the wheels were, though your tyres might be by the time I'm finished
  4. Oh dear.....as much as I want to welcome you to the supra fold, that's a shitter.
  5. Cheers for the encouragment, I know I'll be chuffed to bits when they get here. Its the 'having the rug pulled out from under you' at the last minute when another deadline slips that's making me lose faith.
  6. Cheers dude. I'll borrow them for suprapod if thats ok........might try my hand at drifting
  7. They will, but its finding another set of 19"wheels that I like (as I have to keep the tyres). I told them that they have 7 days to get a definitive delivery date, or I'll take my money back. I could then order the Dynas from the states and have the delivered. They've since called me back today though and have recieved confirmation that the wheels have been shipped. I now have another 3-4weeks to wait before they arrive. Hopefully they arrive in time for suprapod. I'm not happy driving around with these flaky wheels, it ruins the rest of the car
  8. Well, it's been 4 weeks'ish, so I gave them a call. Looks like I'm still waiting.
  9. looks like I'm defo out guys,..............looks like suprapod is going to be off too I've just got off the phone to my wheel supplier. Lost my rag a bit, now it looks like my cars going to be on stands for the forseeable.
  10. If you're on a budget for wheels. Ultralites are the best bet. For the same sort of money, you can get a set of nurburg jobbies. Look on a supra. Whifbitz sells ultralites in proper staggered sizes for the supra. Check the site and get browsing, there are loads to choose from.
  11. I've got Rota GTLM's mate. I hate looking at the thing at the moment.
  12. Or is the trip to the Netherlands more appealing ? TBF, I might blow out too. I'm getting royally pissed driving around on my rotten wheels. Everytime I take the car out and bring it back, the blobs of corrosion are spreading.
  13. I'd help out with this, but Raven lives pretty much where I do. If there's anyway I can help bud, let me know.
  14. The only man I know who's tried them both, is JP. He thought the car was far better with new OEM stuff fitted.
  15. This might be stating the blatant obvious, but is the black smoke coming out the front when in reverse...............you know, because you're going backwards
  16. I spoke to him at the bluewater meet. I know he's had trouble with the map and a seeming incurable missfire at high speed. You're gonna have to throw some money at it dude I'm afraid.
  17. Awww dude! I know this might be a poor point, but was this on a dyno pull? if so, how high did you manage before it commited hara kiri?
  18. haha 730bhp on a conservative map !! What the hell will it do if it's pushed?
  19. Get it on a ramp mate just to be sure. You sound like you're trying to convince yourself it's had some miracle cure. There's something wrong, and you should rather investigate it now. The longer you leave it, the more expensive it'll get.
  20. I used to use deep impact sockets to push inserts out. Due to the sizes going up in mm increments, you can always find one that fits.
  21. When front mains go, the engine can poo out the oil pretty quick. Don't rely on your oil pressure/level light either.
  22. Yup, I had this about a month ago. Typically, I got home on Friday after work ready for my rare weekends off. That night I was sleeping fully clothed in two duvets having cold sweats, throwing up randomley and feeling drained to the point where I thought I was going to die. I'm not one for hamming up illnesses, I've not had a sick day off work in 10 years. But I was ruined the whole weekend and felt better sunday evening....typical, when I'm about to go back to work.
  23. You said you had patches of oil under the car though when you pushed it back. Oil leaks don't repair themselves, they tend to get worse. the only variation of this is I've heard the front main can leak oil past the seal on spirited driving then stop when driven normally. I'd get the car on a ramp or stands, whip the undertray off and have a look around. I'd not be happy to just leave it as is.
