  1. My car.......she's a girl Edit to add - I take it you're still single then dude?. I'll live vicariously through you through the weekend then. Any potential talent will get pushed your way if I meet any, on the understanding I want a full debrief................ and pictures if possible
  2. Hence the 0630hrs meet time....come on, get out of bed you lazy sod. Scott, I know you're no stranger to early mornings, you can have a siesta when you get to the pod.
  3. Found this dude who does literal songs that run with film trailers. Brilliant
  4. You have to factor in time spent waiting/chatting/oogling etc etc. When you get to each venue, you're not just driving past. I say be at lakeside by 0630hrs. Gives time to get coffee, piss, chat, oogle etc etc. MIssing the convoy from Todington would be criminal, it only happens once a year and I want to make sure I'm there.
  5. I've also got a mines ECU......not that rare then
  6. I might be misreading that, but the Mines ECU cannot be remapped. I think when they're first bought (years and years ago), they can be tailored to suit whatever the purchaser has on his supra. Each unit will be a little different, but generally as I understand, they are perfect for the BPU level car.
  7. Ok, I'll get a thread started over there when I get home from work.
  8. Ooohh, nice. Yes, I'm an amateur, and yes I take the blame. however, in my defence. I've sprayed my dash in both supras I've owned and they both came up good. I blame the ogrish gold paint that was on there before
  9. Has anyone ventured onto pistonheads forums and disclosed this too them. I've been to one of their meets, and to say they're diverse is an understatement. Nobles, TVRs, S2000's, Ferraris, Ultimas. Branners, do you want to post something up over there, or would you like me too.?
  10. Makes me think it's not the seal then. Have you changed the main rear bearing?
  11. If it rains, it means I get started on the beer earlier.....no big deal
  12. I've been using Gold class megs wax for a while having swapped from Autoglym. Detailers are fine for quick fixes at the arrival of a meet or show, but I'll not routinely clean the car with it. The car gets polished everytime it's cleaned (which is weekly). The car was recently parked under a tree which dripped minute sap blobs all over the supra and my dads 350z. My dad told me of the mare he had getting the sap off, so I dreaded the clean today. Turns out, the wax applied prior to the sap exposure meant it just fell off the paint when nudged with a sponge. Once this gold class has run out, I'm going to try the nxt stuff.
  13. Yup, I'm surprised he uses it as a drift slag given how rare they are. ---- So for peeps that are camping, what sort of shenanigans can be expected?...... just so I can prepare myself if necessary.
  14. Just delete it and use an internal one attached to the top of the rear screen. The coax cable runs nicely up the pillar, under the headlining and out to attach to the inside of the rear window. It's virtually invisible, and your car no longer looks like a giant RC car when you're listening to tunes
  15. Have had a good play with it now, there's no way this suckers coming off. Just have to be very very careful on the paintwork
  16. Right, I have a new tactic to get it off, the trick is to pull the very edge with the tips of your fingers. It pops off lightly with no effort. Standby for "Getaway in Bromley". Premiering later....only on MKIVsupra.net
  17. Ah, welcome cousin. I'll introduce you to the boys on the day. We're a freindly bunch.......well most of us are
  18. I kid you not, the bugger was stuck fast, I had to leave it for a few hours before almost knocking myself out when it eventually came off.
  19. Well, that arrived fast. I just went out to test it, and got it promptly stuck onto the windscreen.......it's still there now, I can't get the bastard off!! Whats the trick to getting the pad off. I've tried lifting the lug thing as per instructions and the Hague website video, but bugger me if I can do it.
  20. Marc, I've seen those seats before and thought they were awesome, but they grow on me everytime I see them. Stunning choice dude, really modernises the interior. Love it. I hope you don't mind, but I'm off work today, I think a trip to my local trimmers might be in order to see how much a red retrim is
  21. Lakeside I think is a better meet point. Clacketts means people from anticlockwise end up on the wrong side of the services, and have to travel one junction down to come back, I believe if we meet at Lakeside, it means everyone is facing the right way. Last time I did this run, the meet time was 0600hrs , but we made it to Toddington in good time. Edit, Oh, and count STChris and I in, 1.bradleyh_15-eastborne area 2.TJP-kent area/lakeside 3. scottc998 Heathfield area 4. supralad Essex area 5. Pistonbroke + (STChris as passenger)
