  1. I'm set, car's loaded. Toothpaste and toothbrush included (I hate morning breath). I've also made one final addition to the car.....no prizes for guessing who the owner is
  2. Where did you hear that GT5 doesn't have it?
  3. If so, how's dirt 3 going?, what news can you tell me about it
  4. wow, good effort. I'll need a screen grab of the score for definitive proof
  5. I've not got my double din screen yet, but that's what the plan is. Some double dins fit the space fine, others are slightly too big for the front dash trim to go over. I think its to do with the design of each individual unit. Some units are designed to sit flush with the dash, others are meant to protrude a little. The ones that protrude will more than likely mean that the dash hole has to be trimmed top or bottom so it slides over the moniter. My plan is to get the moniter to sit completely flush with the dash, this may mean drilling holes in the side mounting brackets, either in front or behind the existing ones to makes the unit sit further in or further back.
  6. Should help pass the time at work for everyone looking forward to supra pod I scored 1775 http://dom2d.squarespace.com/geek-mind/ Takes a while to load though.
  7. Yeah, just rip them off. They may break into pieces and bend from being glued on, but you're replacing them, so no worries. Here are mine
  8. So shaky that everything you've cleaned under the bonnet has turned to chrome It looks stunning Rob, it's a well deserved show winning engine you've got there.
  9. Get the ones from ebay, and watch the youtube instruction videos on how to fit them. They do just clip on, but they can be a b'stard sometimes.
  10. The weather suggests it'll rain between 1000 - 1300, then it clears up for the afternoon. Might work out well. The drift boys will get some time practicing without chewing all their tyres up, then as it dries off, they increase their speeds and make loads of smoke to entertain us. Then once the strip has dried off and they've used all their tyres up, they can watch us decimate the quarter
  11. They do, but they won't look so nice in another few months when all the laquer has fallen off. Cool, I'll give you a bell tomorrow.
  12. Nice one darrett, I'll ask the seller this.
  13. Bullcrap I'm destined to have shitty wheels forever at this rate.
  14. Wheeldude. http://www.wheeldude.com/wordpress/
  15. Not looking good, the forcast is going from bad to worse. Heavy rain all day last time I looked.
  16. I'm paying $1699, which includes deliver, duty and taxes apparently.
  17. I'm looking to buy some wheels from the states. I've asked the seller about paying dutyimport tax on the goods when they arrive, and whether or not it'd be possible to mark them as a gift. (I've heard this apparently bypasses the tax thing). They've said that all duties/taxes will be paid, so I'll not get hit with any of it. But I've just been informed by someone else, that the overseas seller has no control over the duty once it arrives in this country, so I could still get hit with the tax. Anyone know anything definitive on this?
  18. Sod that, I'm still camping. BBQ sounds good.
  19. Lets say you buy a set of wheels brand new from a supplier, then 4 months down the line you report that they are going rotten. Initially, new different exchange wheels are sourced and are agreed that that the wheels will be swapped under the warranty. Then, 6 months later and my new wheels still haven't arrived. So I ask for a full refund. The supplier is suggesting that I pay for the carriage of returning the wheels. Is this right?. I already have to fork out for having the tyres removed, now they want this on top. I can see where this is going to end up. I return the wheels and they arrive damage, voiding my warranty and causing more grief. Any advice?
