  1. Very nice that mate. very very good price too.
  2. What's your lap time M_life? And is it a clean lap (no warning triangle next to posted time)?
  3. AFAIK, there's no 5.4 in the mustang. Post 2004 mustangs had the 4.6 V8, then more recently they've jumped up to 5ltr in the current model.
  4. Amazing work, I need to get the stang down there. Out of interest Christian, what do you recommend for convertible vinyl roofs?
  5. I'm no expert on them, but I do own a 2005 V8 mustang GT. You mention 2004 onwards having a quad cam 32v 4.6 modular engine, that's not quite right. As far as I know, the 4.6 V8 is a single cam 3v per cylinder unit with VVT. As for tuning, yes, you can turbo them, but the big results seem to come from supercharging them. From quick chats with fellow owners, around the 550-600hp point is the limit for the stock internals. The 5 speed auto is at it's threshold just under the 500bhp mark, whereas the manual box fitted to the GT is considerably stronger. The thing with these engines (witnesses from supra pod can vouch for this ) is the low down torque figure with no lag means they leap off the line, even when bolted to a fat convertible S197. Their top end is no where near the ferociousness of a tuned 2jz, but the fast pick up more than makes up for it. To put it in perspective a bit, my stock mustang runs around the 14.5 mark on the quarter mile. An identical car with bolted on twin scroll charger runs 11.9.
  6. Bless her, my dalmation X looks exactly like her, only he's totally black with a white spotted chest. I had a run in with a stereotypical mouth breathing 20 stone gelled fringe chav woman whos staff attacked mine. She was on the other side of the park when it happened, and an onlooker eventually came over after seeing me struggling to keep the dogs apart. I asked the gentleman helper to hold my dog as I knew he was tame, while I held the staff by the collar, looking for the owner. When I found her, she went mental, shouting at me in some sort of ghetto lingo, threatening to have me stabbed if I touched her dog again. About a week later, the same scenario again. But this time, I dropped the staff over a 6ft fence and carried on with my walk.
  7. I'm on nights next Friday fellas Next time you see the stang though, it should be rolling on 20s
  8. I would have posted a more tasteful Roush stang instead if there was one under 20k
  9. The c6 vette is not under 20k yet.....otherwise I'd have one.
  10. I'm not biased at all http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/3256/3256614-4.jpg http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3256614.htm
  11. I've got loads of subscriptions on youtube, along with my own rapidly growing subscriber list( though not up there with JP's). Here are my best ones.. gallardo2006 This is the mad TT gallardo guys who tune italian supercars to mega speeds. They've just done a 458 twin turbo too theslomoguys These guys do loads of mad stuff with phantom cameras at mega huge frames per second......brilliant slurpyJ a fella that does human voice overs on random animal clips. motortrend The americans best effort at a car show, it's actually very good. Though be warned it's 90% yank cars. dorklybits A brilliant comedian who uses classic 8bit games for scenes corridordigital Amateur film makers that put hollywood to shame with their excellent special effects. This next one is not a youtube subscription, but he's one of my more recent finds on vimeo that blew me away with his skills. One day I hope to be able to edit like this guy. http://vimeo.com/stephenbrooks Here is his amazing awesomefest video http://vimeo.com/27476047 I obviously subscribe to the producers on here too, JP, scott998 etc etc.
