Jumping out of gears could be that the linkage needs adjusting. The hard shifts could be that the clutch cable needs adjusting.

Put your old mount back on just to eliminate everything else as a problem. That'll give you piece of mind then at least that it's nothing new.

Fill the whole recess with fiberglass, smooth over then cut out the desired hole for the new filler......thats only a guess BTW until Rob gets here.

No mate, I'm not saying your flywheel is knackered, I'm using the other members post as an example. Lightweight flywheels are notoriously noisy, no doubt yours is the same. Stiffer engine mounts will make them sound louder.

I've read this before mate, a knackered stock flywheel that rattled on a members car before he changed the mounts to TRD, was exagerrated and made louder by the new stiffer mounts.

How do the Volks sit in the arch at the moment.? You'd need a fairly big spacer to push the wheel out enough to fill a VS overfender.

Due to your new mounts being much stiffer with less give, they will create more noise due to them not absorbing smaller vibrations as well as the softer bushes.
