  1. HKS Silent, does exactly what it says on the tin, I posted a video up recently. Let me find it.................... Click here to watch Pull-away-23
  2. I fitted my new SSQV dump valve and cleaned the car, then spent the rest of the time needlessly going on and off boost making whooshing noises everywhere.
  3. Chris, thats why under my name it says AKA Dan, just so people don't call me Pistonbroke to my face, I can understand how that would be a tad awkward.
  4. Chris, were you the guy with the metal dials,? if so, nice to meet you to mate, it was me who was chatting to you next to your car. I'm under the impression also that the meet at the start of the month is the more popular one. There seems to be a lot more people turn up at that one. Watch this space though, come the summer, I can see the bluewater meet getting very very popular.
  5. what this one, Thats the plan for next time then, we'll start the meet down in the bottom car park and leave the chavs upstairs. I also want to get some pictures of all the supras together, we were spread out all over the place last night.
  6. Really nice to meet you Surj, top bloke. What happened to everyone else then? I didn't see any blue engine bay.
  7. If you have trouble finding it, stick your head out the window and folow the tell tale noise of loud exhausts. Just fitted the SSQV, sounds great, not driven the car yet so hopefully everything runs fine.
  8. RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEESULT !!! LOOK WHATS JUST ARRIVED Today is a good day!!!
  9. Nice, I'll be there for the same time then. I've just finished cleaning the car, its started to cloud over slightly so it may go into the car park underneath. Personally I prefer it when its underneath as its better lighting for photos. Oh, and the exhausts sound the nuts inside
  10. Right, I'd better get out there cleaning the beast then, what times everyone going to be there. Last time I went I was a bit keen to show off my new pride and joy and arrived before anyone else. Needless to say I was a bit lonely being the only supra surrounded by Hondas with engines that sounded like a thousand angry bees.
  11. Just checked the picture of the bonnet, looks like it may just need adjusting on one of the catches, nothing major. Are there any stone chips on the bonnet,? if not, it may be that the bonnet has been removed and sprayed and not fitted back flush.
  12. Seeing as The Isle of mann's residents are all lucky not to have enforced speed limits on some of their roads, it seems a shame not to go over there and make use of this. I watched a re-run of a recent top gear where they tested a few cars over there, the roads look ACE.!!! One of the cars was the M6 BMW, and he was going 147MPH on a long stretch of country road. Would anyone else be interested in this.?
  13. I've found some aftermarket leads for ya, I've bought loads of stuff from this guy, his names Chris. http://www.funkystyling.co.uk/item.php?carNumber=33&carMake=Supra&catTypeNumber=3&catType=Engine%20Parts&subcatType=Ignition%20-%20Spark%20Plug%20Wires&subcatTypeNumber=9
  14. Sounds like a serious brown trouser moment. Not had any in the Supe yet, had plenty in the MR2 though
  15. Well mines the Silent then, TBH I prefer it to my last car, I had a tubby MR2 with a rogue revision 6 exhaust that looked great, but did my head in on the motorway.
  16. now thats impressive. Post their link to a website for other people with the same problem.
  17. will do mate. Thx for the compliment
  18. Hello Shaf mate, hows things over at the mr2oc?
  19. You said on page 2 you've already changed the plugs. If not, get them from here http://www.opieoils.co.uk/performance_spark_plugs/ If you meant the leads, try Mr 'T'
  20. How do you set one of these up then? I've been told not to mess with them out of the box as they should be set up, but whats the proper procedure, just for info purposes.
  21. Yeah, Id be up for that. You have to let me know well in advance though as I do shift work.
  22. Have you sorted this yet? Mines being fitted tommorow.
  23. My thoughts are, if your leads haven't been changed then the spark may be weak, thus, not burning all the fuel, giving you the impression of overfuelling.
