  1. Yup, but it starts to slow at higher speeds, the supra just keeps on going.
  2. I bought my TT for 9K about a month ago. I Part x'd my rev 3 tubby for her. I do miss the franticness of the MR2, but you simply can't beat the TT smile factor when you plant your foot. The constant fierce acceleration will make you laugh out loud!!

Pretty basic? Last time I looked under the hood of mine, the twin turbo manifold and all its vacuum pipes scared the hell out of me
  4. Jazz, Glad to see you've seen the light once again. You have to be very careful with insurance companies, they are very sly. You will take out a policy with them, and you'll think, I won't tell them about my aftermarket bumper, I'll just tell them I thought it was standard as it came with the car. Well, unfortunately, they won't give a toss about your bumper until you prang it. Then they will go over the car with a fine tooth comb and anything that is not factory fitted makes the car instantly modified and therefore uninsured. That way, they've got your money for the policy, they have no legal obligation to cover you and they will not pay out any claims. You can't rely on your defence of saying "I thought it came standard with the car", as ignorance of the law is no defence.
  5. MMMMMMMMMM, Carbon. dude, that car is stunning. I've noticed you've not got any shots of the interior though, is this because its all still standard?, if so, your far from finished.
  6. Yup, know the feeling, the supe is the only car I don't mind being stuck in traffic in, I love all the staring and pointing and the occasional thumbs up from passing motorists. My girlfreind knows full well I'm having an affair, my bit on the side lives in the garage, is nearly 5 meters long and is a very shiney red.
  7. Your on. Anyone else for the convoy idea?
  8. Someone delete this thread before anymore people see how slow I've been. In my defence, its now 0210hrs, and I'm half asleep.
  9. Yeah, I'll try my best to make it to this, got a stag do the same weekend but hopefully I'll be back for this. 1. klump 2. ChrisSZ 3. Spyda 4. Nevs 5. adam 6. Burt n Kel 7. sim 8. Dave F 9. Pistonbroke 10.
  10. Get them blended into the bumper, then you'll see no join at all and it will look ace.
  11. Are you being serious, if so, I've never heard of any classic broken piston noise (and my car makes a slight pulsing on idle, I always thought it was down to the shape of the manifold.) EDIT - Does this have something to do with my name?, if so, you'll have to forgive me, I'm blond, its an affliction that has not yet been recognised by the medical profession.
  12. aahhhh, pulsing noise. Like the pulsing noise a scooby makes on idle but not so pronounced?
  13. get a multiplug from a breakers yard with a bit of loom and solder it on.
  14. Sounds like you did a blinding job of taking care of her though mate. A lot of people panick like crazy at the sight of a loved one injured. I see it all the time at car accidents. But you held it together, well done, you should feel proud.
  15. My old Greedy one had a broken wire from the sensor to the gauge causing the BS readings. Sounds similar to yours.
  16. LOL, somehow after five pages, 'I told you so', doesn't quite cut it. Your right to wait though mate, you really do need to have a car like the supra insured properly.
  17. Golf?!?!, well, nothing like going up in the world.
  18. HAHA, just checked the other threads, that car has some serious issues, especially that bonnet ............ thing! So, whats your mate going to ruin next then?
  19. was it still smoking like a train when he sold it?
  20. The only way I'm ever gonna buy that stuff, is if theres another petrol strike, and thats the only stuff left in the forecourt.
  21. Oh I give up with the amount of specs, models and variants, it makes my brain hurt.
  22. How can it be a UK spec Supra, its left hand drive?!?!? Not trying to steal thunder from the obviously quick CTR, ............... BUT, if the supra was like it says on the video title, that it is tuned and its a TT model, then I have to say, that it can't be THAT modified. The supra's trump card its its formidable acceleration at high speeds. If it was a highly modded supra, then the CTR driver would be straining his eyes to see the supra way off in the distance. Just my 2p
  23. That things had shed loads of cash thrown at it, its got the proper carbon dash as well, not the stick on stuff. Its a bit too much for my personal taste, nice car though.
  24. Sorry man, its easy to mis-interpret written japes. My bad.
  25. Oh, and I just found this post. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=65120
