  1. Just in case none of the other stuff works from meguires. I recommend MER. It seems to work really well with mettalic paint. sorry to see that mate, I would cry if it happened to mine.
  2. If the car is not on the department of transport database pre 95, then NO cat test. I can't tell you whether or not the supra is on there though. I used to own an FTO that I had decatted, one year the car was not on the DOT database, the next it was, so it needed a cat. Good luck mate.
  3. Its not a myth mate heres the proof. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=32605&d=1144169706
  4. Years ago I played the original need for speed it was called road and track and it had a supra in it, me and my mates would say can you imagine owning any of the cars on that game, the game had really good video showcases of all the cars along with the supra. Always wanted a super sports car that made jaws drop wherever it went. What can I say, I'm a materialistic showoff. So a supra purchase was inevitable.
  5. The olny thing I would suggest to change the look, is to put elo glow dials on and remove the backlight bulbs, this makes the needles black on the blue background. Its the best look IMHO.
  6. Mine makes a slight pinking type noise intermitantly under load, I've changed the plugs for iridiums, check fuelling, its all good. Its done it since I've owned it. Nothing else to do really.
  7. The boost gauge on that car looks shit, get rid of that and it'll stand more chance of selling IMHO
  8. Oh yeah, when I nearly cut your arm off in your own door, sorry about that. Thx for the compliments on my car. Did you get any phone calls about it ?, I saw a lot of people looking at it and the for sale sign. Surj, good to see you again mate, sorry to hear about your mates car, hope its not too serious, I would ask what the problem is but I know sweet FA about them boxer engines. Another funny thing is that happened, I have a spanish cleaner in my work who came up too me one day and said (imagine a spanish accent) "your car is errr, how do you say, errr fast and furious no?", I cracked up laughing and started talking about meets and stuff to him, I thought he didn't really understand me as he was just smiling and shaking his head, but he actually showed up last night with all his family after I mentioned the bluewater meet to him. Seems he's right into the jap scene and will be purchasing a little pocket rocket of his own in the near future.
  9. That was a brilliant night, it was really great to meet everyone. Glad you managed to get up there Surj. What was the deal with your mates Scooby then? I've got some piccys for ya. Sorry about the blurs, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong with this thing Did anyone else see the old white pickup? I should have taken a picture of it but was too shocked to remember the camera. It looked like an old heap with supra rims on it, but oh no, it had the full 3 litre inline six twin turbo engine with all the running gear from a supra, the guy said it was 250kg lighter than a supra as well. Oh, I nearly forgot. Did anyone see the 300zx crash when him and his mate were burning round the car park, well I did, and I got it on video for ya. Check it out. http://media.putfile.com/300zx-crash I'm kind to you lot.
  10. Everyday for me, driving to work and back are my favourite parts of the day. I find myself looking for excuses to drive her at the weekends.
  11. Nice, small world mate, whifbitz is where mine came from
  12. Shit dude, thats a bummer, well at least its getting sorted and it'll drive like new again once its sorted. Tourniquet, its the car park behind the cinema on the top floor, usually get there for about 8:30 - 9:00.
  13. Stick razor blades to the edges of the mirrors, it'll leave a nice red trail to the culprits house, or A+E.
  14. Anyone up for this, as its the first one of the month, its usually the biggest of the two. Hopefully the weather will be ok. I Prefer to go to this one as the Ace Cafe is a bit too rowdy for my liking, I wouldn't mind if I drove some old shit box but I don't, I drive a supra, and I intend it to keep it looking the way it does now, some of the driving that goes on down at A-C may be entertaining but it would scare the crap out of me if was going on anywhere near my P&J.
  15. You'll have to descirbe the noise a bit more mate. Does the whole car shake ?
  16. The plug is f*cked, I suppose excess heat may have caused it to deform like that, or some fool dropped it when it was fitted. I take it from the pictures that you cars an NA, if so then have you got an aftermarket air filter on it?
  17. Not being funny mate, have you checked the insurance on a TT?, being only 22, your gonna get hammered. Also, what sort of budget do you have?
  18. Jim, I see yours is a rev 2 tubby, even with them mods, I'm not sure it would beat a stock TT to 100. Especially if you go against a 6 speed manual variant.
  19. They've adjusted the tracking by adjusting one side only, they should share the adjustment between both sides keeping the steering wheel straight. Take it back.
  20. Yeah, the slight pulsing is created by slightly different length maniflold pipes coming from the engine. Aftermarket exhaust exagerate this noise. Listen to a Impreza on idle, it almost sounds like it missfiring due to the same effect.
  21. thats because your mr2 is running more than standard BHP. Standard MR2 vs standard TT would be a different story.
