In my experience of driving on my long private driveway, I'd say 40-150 is really where the Auto TT shines. Phenominal (SP) power delivery all the way to the top, I'd say most people will bottle out long before the car does.

I've only heard bad things about car covers.

I've re done the bonnet where it seems to be the worst. I finished off in straight lines and it seems to have done the trick. I think I'll try some of that Meguires stuff though next time, I hear nothing but good things about that

I think its the first time my cars been polished since its new coat of paint about eight months ago, the scratched I'm talking about are very very fine and cannot be noticed, unless your some sort of anal retentive clean car freak like me who knew what the paint looked like prior to polishing.

I decided to polish the car yesterday, seeing as its coming up to the warmer months when red cars really have a tendancy to go slightly camp in colour. So I bought some autoglym high resin polish along with an application pad and polishing mitt, after cleaning the car I polished the car as I have always polished my other cars. I never remember having problems before, but then again I've never had a car thats had such good condition paintwork so I may never have noticed, thing is, I now have loads of swirl effect light scratches all over the car. Obviously, the autoglym must have some sort of cut agent in it which has caused the swirls. Does anyone know of a polish that has none, or at least a very fine cutting agent to get rid of the existing swirls and leave a nice mirror shine.?

I thought it was more than that, thats why MKIVStore is supplying fluidyne rads for apparently less than mr t ones, but they need the seperate autobox cooler.

I've been toying with the idea of putting a front mounted intercooler on my soop, thing is, its still running standard tune with only a HKS dump valve and HKS exhaust. The main reason for the FMIC is for looks, it changes the look of the front of the car nicely IMHO. What I'm asking is, will I cause any problems for the car if I was to fit one.? And, will it affect performance in any way?

But I've read on another page of this thread, that budget singles are not such a good idea. To go single, you need to spend big bucks to ensure its done propely, or else you risk the rest of the engine if its not set up properly. The other thing for me is I'm not interested in going BPU as my car needs the cats it for an MOT. If I can get more power with the cats in then fair enough.

So what have we decided here? If my turbos commited hara kiri tommorow, (finds large piece of wood to touch) what would be the sound course to take? This is bearing in mind, I like the performance the way it is so there is no need for big singles pushing massive HP
