  1. You have to weigh it all up mate, how badly do you want the money? if you rush this desicion in selling the car you may regret it. On the other hand, if the cash is sorely needed, its a very sensible way of doing things. As you said in your earlier post, the Supras potential is rarely used, 80% of the time, its just the cars cars good looks thats needed to grab all the attention, a nice NA will do this job just as well as a TT, and aero top will do it more probably. The wedding and honeymoon went perfectly, thanks mate. I missed the Supra badly though, I hated leaving her here for two weeks, she didn't want to start for me when I came back due to a knackered battery, but we made up, and she loves me again. Its all good
  2. are they legal? Do they still emit enough light?
  3. don't forget Surj, your cars just had a new rad fitted, and to anyone in the know looking for a TT, this is one thing that should provide piece of mind when purchasing one. The auto radiator is not cheap, and Surj's car has a brand new shiney one Edit, and don't worry surj, I'll still talk to you if you get an NA, I'll just look down my nose a tiny bit at you, so tiny in fact you won't even notice. As long as its got Supra on the back, its cool in my books.
  4. At work in his phone shop in Bluewater. I would have come in and said Hi, but the better half was with me and she was on an unstoppable rampant spending spree.
  5. I wrote the most amazing review possible, then my phone rang and while on the phone the page refreshed and I lost everything . POO.
  6. Erm, well mine dumps between changes, I can still hear it at 120MPH so its definitley audible.
  7. Yes, I mean the front crank oil seal, at the bottom of the cam belt. Its a bit of an ass to check unless the stone tray under the car is taken off, but if you look carefully from the top you should be able to see if theres a problem. There are plenty of threads constantly circulating about crank case pressure causing this problem along with plenty of thoughts as to why this occurs
  8. That spoiler is the worst I've seen on a soop, even the universal items you can get look better than that IMO.
  9. Check the front main oil seal, thats the only thing thats gone wrong with mine since I've owned her. Other than that, not much, these cars are renowned for reliability.
  10. I've just read the thread for the Southend meet, sounds like its gonna be a corker. Shame is, I'm on my honeymoon then in Jamaica. I don't think the missus would be too happy about blowing her out for a Supra meet.
  11. Rear brake pads mate. Do a search and you'll find threads about the retention springs in the calipers allow the pad to move in the bracket, making a clicking noise. If your diff is knackered, it'd be the first one I've ever heard of going. Also, have you seen the size of the diff on these cars, its MASSIVE, its looks very substantial and a capable bit of equipment for the car. Diffs also make a droning noise or whine when they go.
  12. Police in this country have many many powers to search your car. If they see something through the window that raises suspicions, they can search it. I'm not going into it in details, it'd take ages. Class one - I had a case the other day where I chased a disqual driver in an unmarked car, even with the blues and twos going, the CPS dropped the fail to stop charge as the car was an unmarked car and was deemed 'uniform' for the purpose of the offence.
  13. I knew this was going to happen
  14. Actually, its steam from valve software, and the date is 2004.
  15. Well, the date on the forum clips is 2004, so it can't be more than 2 years old can it,
  16. Yup, the electronic is more accurate and faster response.
  17. From what I've heard, a 52mm gauge will fit where the clock is perfectly. Yes you can use that gauge on its own, it has its own boost pressure sensor that comes packaged with it, this is the difference between mechanical gauges and electronic ones.

  19. Let me know when you want to sell the bumper, its exactly what I'm after and its in the right colour too
  20. Well some of you anyway, you know who you are http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php
  21. Get some pics up here mate, lets have a look at her.
  22. No no claims bonus?, are you sure thats a legitimate insurance company? You didn't print the cover note off from the internet did you? Good luck to you fella, that insurance is very very cheap for your circumstances.
  23. Lol, just checked your gallery, hope its not the tyre thats damaged, them bad boys are gonna cost
  24. Sorry slightly off topic, You can't tow a supra on its rear wheels because its an auto, yes, this is correct, but this is only because the engine isnt running, I always thought the drive for the pump is up by the torque convertor that spins with the engine, so if the engines running, so is the gearbox oil pump. Otherwise how would it build up pressure to engage a gear when the car is first started, if the pump was connected to the drive of the axle, and the car didn't move it would'nt have any pressure to engage gears. So don't worry, unless you engage neutral when the engines not running and the cars moving, no damage can be caused. As for the noise, Put the spare on the front of the car on each side seperatly to see if the noise dissapears, I had similar problems when I damaged the inside of a tyre wall on an old car of mine, its suprising how much noise it made, the inside of the tire had completely fallen apart and was rolling around in big chunks inside the tyre.
