  1. Nice one, thanks for the info fellas. I shall appraise the wife
  2. I've bookmarked this thread to my favourites, next time I think I'm having a bad day, I'll come and read Ellis's post again, it'll make me feel much better Seriously though mate, I know your pain all too well, just walk away from it all and let things work themselves out. Once its all done. you'll wonder why you were so vexxed about it in the first place. Either that, or you'll have killed someone.....
  3. Does anyone live round that way ?, if so, whats it like? I've decided to get a bigger house, (don't worry, the supe's not going anywhere ) due to my missus wanting a new addition to our little family The house prices down there are very appealing and the commute into London doesn't seem to bad, I'll just get a little cheapo diesel for commuting and save the Supe for weekends and meets etc etc.
  4. Readin on, I'm not sure they are a running list of worst at 100 to best at 1. Its just the overall top 100 in no particular order, example is that the corsa vxr is in the 30's and the new track lotus monster is at 100. So the fact that the supra is even in there is noteworthy
  5. Just bought the top gear magazine which has the top 100 fastest cars. Its not a list regarding stats of how fast a car goes, but a list of cars that make you feel 'alive' when you drive them. The Supra came in at 82 and states the following. Toyota Supra Turbo : Three litre straight six twin turbo nutter drift car tuned to 1000bhp by loonies, but its still great with 'only' the standard 320bhp. It beat the likes of Evo VI, honda NSX, aston v8 vantage roadster, m3 csl, caterham r500, atom supercharged, and a few others.
  6. On the throttle linkage where the cable runs to, if you look around there you'll see a stop point where the throttle rests against when its closed, it'll look like a small screw thread probably. Its between this 'stop' and the throttle linkage mechanism that the feeler blades have to go to set the adjustment for the TPS.

    hey im new

Speak to Jurgen mate if you want a proper nice one, there's a man you can trust.
  8. maybe the tps had washers on the screws when you took it off and you've lost them
  9. You should be ok with a custom one off as you have an NA, most fabricators of custom exhausts only use small diameter bores which would restrict a TT.
  10. My mate also, instead of rabitting on too long making it uncomfortable for everyone there, he had pictures of me from years before, including some lads holiday snaps of me wearing a skirt etc etc. He had loads printed up then handed out envelopes containing the snaps to all the tables. It had people in stitches for hours. They even made their way into my work place and got put up on notice borads all around work. You have to make sure the groom can take a joke though.
  11. another thread has been started, just to make things a bit confusing. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1365078&posted=1#post1365078
  12. I thought they decided to do the tunnel run.
  13. Further to my last post, did you replace the gaskets for the throttle body after you took it off? If you used the original gaskets you may have caused a small air leak, this would cause the symptoms your getting. I recommend getting new gaskets, when re-fitting them, use Hylomar to hold them in place, it also acts as a sealent helping prevent air leaks.
  14. You may find that having the washers there is simpley making the sensors readings closer to what they should be. You need to reset your ECU now because it'll have a faulty TPS code in the system, running it while the sensor is unplugged will create the fault code alone. It also won't hurt doing a reset after you've set the TPS up correctly so the car re-learns it values properly. Setting the TPS up properly is actually quite simple, it'll all make sense when your actually looking at the parts concerned with the instructions above.
  15. Good one I used was, 'Speeches should be like miniskirts, short enough to keep you interested, but long enough to cover the essentials'
  16. Somethings already been mentioned here, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=106753 maybe we should amalgamate the two threads.
  17. I just don't want to break my pride and joy. its about £50 aint it for infinite runs and I'd only want to go once or twice so it seems a bit pricey. I may change my mind on the day. I'm there for the show and shine mainly as my car is super super clean
  18. couldn't have been me then.

  20. There was a thread here recently, (although you'll probably get more responses for this if you post it in the technical section). The last thread I read with knocking noise from the rear where the owner thought it was a drive/prop/diff problem, was down to a brake caliper that was catching on a lip on the rear discs, are your rear discs heavily lipped? Withn regard to the high idling, check for fauklt codes then get back to me.
  21. Lovin that mate, looks like a stunning example, the seats look hardly used.
  22. Thats a crazy price for those rims. I remember 7 years ago, I bought a set of 17 " Kosie snipers, they set me back over £1500

    My car

OEM skirts will finish that car a treat, the side profile of the car seems high in the middle, making you lose the 'mean' look. From the rear though its looking ace, I like the tinted lights, I think it suits the car. EDIT - just noticed how close your exhaust is to your bumper, you might want to adjust that a bit before it melts it
  24. Do only UK specs have diff coolers then? Mine has one and its a Jspec.
  25. I've done a bit of investigating into this myself, and concluded that the tein stuff is very good condidering the price, and its what I'll be buying in the near future. Speak to Nic on here, he can source them for you at a brilliant price. EDIT - 1000 POSTS WOOOOOOOOOOT :D
