nope, leave that stuff well alone. Only way to be sure is get it checked out properly, may just be a loose hose somewhere but the waters travelling along the rad and down the side, (mine did this).

hmmm, too much celica at the front. When you tear up behind someone on the motorway, the supe has the, "ITS EATIN THE DAM ROAD"!!! look about it, I just feel its lost it with the celica lights. Dunlops should be a good tyre. Has he fitted the same size tyre? Thats not a stupid question, he may have upped the profile, eg gone from 235/40 to 235/50's, which would oversize the tyre, causing poo handling. The other thing is, after a car has been on a ramp, the springs extend and can take a while to settle. (mine drove odd for two days once after it had been on the ramp for two days having quite a bit done to it. I could even see the ride height was higher than usual, after driving it around for a while, the car settled, and all was good again.)

Can you not get the diff uprated someway? possibly by using dog teeth planet gears, it'd make the whiney noise you hear in rally cars, but it'd be much much stronger. here's a vid of jamie blowing his diff the first time , its at the end of the clip. http://media.putfile.com/ace-cafe-meet

If you've just had tyres done, get the wheels re-balanced, it can take a while for the tyre to 'settle' which knocks the balancing out again. I can almost guarantee its this

It is still turning the engine over because his rad fan is spinning, so the starter is still engaging.

It sounds like there is no compression at all. There is no typical 'CHUGGA CHUGGA' noise you get on startup, its just a flat noise. Maybe your plugs are loose?

I think nic does the water transfer process for proper carbon fiber effect dash, so no joins or anything, it looks like real carbon fibre.!! PM him for a quote. Its by far the best dash effect you can get.

Just fitted some glass ones so these are up for grabs, as jspec ones go, these are in pretty good nic, although not up to the shiney new glass ones see the pic for comparisons, the ones in the pic are the ones for sale. See my garage pics for the jspecs fitted to the car.

Just seen this and thought I'd give you my thoughts. My TT used to have a slight erratic idle, nothing like what you're getting but still erratic, would idle at 1000 for a while after enthusiastic driving then settle to 600 eventually. I replaced a load of the vacuum hoses with samco blue stuff and its made my idleing a lot more stable.

Like someones already mentioned, there are loads of dogs out there that are really cheap, however, the nicer examples will always retain some value because of their condition. People that buy Supras I would imagine are generally gearheads anyway, and are enthusiasts. People who buy cheap supras are playing with fire if you ask me. I'd much rather get a decent example if I was in the market, and pay that little extra. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. If mine were up for sale, I'd have it on the market for about £9000. Seems a lot, but its one of the nicest I've seen (biased )
