  1. Well, Jaz's car is all sorted, enjoy it fella, thx for the beers, (I'm on them as I type this) Nice to see your looking after her as I did. Still gutting to watch her drive away though.
  2. haha, I'll post up the time we decide, then if people want to come and learn how to remove the dash cluster, then they are free to do so
  3. James, give me a ring when you get a chance and we'll organise a time for you to come round, I'll sort her out for you.
  4. Next time your up Bluewater for a meet, I'll come along.
  5. Well, passed the test with no minors, went out on the r6 and shat my pants within seconds, this thing is mental fast, I had no idea how quick they are.
  6. Don't forget the doughnuts mate, thats one stereotype about the police that is most definitely true
  7. lol, yeah, no license yet.
  8. Lol, are these things really that quick then? whats the 0-60?
  9. Some of you may know, that I recently sold my supe, I've been down in the dumps since she left, even the purchase of a PS3 only cheered my up for a little while. However, the clouds parted today, after I got my grubby little mitts on this beauty Shes a 2004 Yamaha R6, with 3300 miles on the clock, and absolutly mint mint minty mint. Braided brake hoses all round, full set of bungs, polished rear sprocket. Now I'm smiling again. Just need to get a bike license now Got to go, I need to go out to the garage to oogle at her some more.
  10. Sorry mate, missed that bit out, its 52 mm, perfect for the clock hole in the dash.
  11. Bought this the other week for the supra, but seeing as I've sold the car, its little use to me. It glows up indiglo blue, comes with wiring and some vac hose, with t piece. 52mm
  12. Bought this when I was thinking of putting a new steering wheel on my supe, I ended up selling her though so this is now up for sale. Brand new.
  13. Car is sold, as of monday, I'm supraless
  14. Or, you could buy my mint TT in this thread for £8500 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=116738 Then spend your extra cash by getting turbo fit to convert it to a manual.
  15. Ok, car is sorted, jacked it up today on the offending side to have a nosey around to see if I could spot anything causing the knock. It seems that when ther car was MOT'd, they jacked up the rear to check everything and the suspension spring has possibly moved whilst the strut was extended, as I jacked it up today, I heard it ping. I still had a good route round underneath but couldn't find anything wrong, there is zero play in everything. I torqued up the subframe whilst there just to be sure, but they didn't tighten at all, they were all at the set level. I took the car for a drive afterwards and the knock has gone. Panick over, car is back to A1
  16. Typical, I put the car up for sale, and two days later, a knocking noise develops from the O/S rear. You may think this is odd me putting this up on the for sale thread as it'll put off potential buyers, however, I'm being open and honest and letting people know that it'll be sorted ASAP. It'd look worse if people came round to look at it and heard the noise, they may think I'm trying to hide something. Believe me I'm not. If you still want to come see the car, I'd be more than happy to show anyone around it, I'm just being as open and honest as I can. Whatever the fault is, as has always been the case, it'll be repaired irrespective of cost. Just to let you know
  17. Thanks mate, I'll miss her loads.
  18. Cheers mate, I've not made this decision lightly at all, Surj, don't sell your car unless you really have to.
  19. Cheers fellas. You'll still be seeing me about, no doubt about it. Like any true petrol head, I'll have another expensive jap car soon enough though. I'll still be making the movies for you at all the meets, only the camera vehicle will be considerably faster next time round
  20. Yeah, I'll be hanging about here, you won't get rid of me that easy.
  21. I know mate, scary stuff aint it. Its just too much to keep though, I don't want to start skimping when it comes to this car because it'd be a shame to let the standard of it drop.
  22. I've decided to don my sensible head today and make a big decision. My wife is expecting our first child in 6 months and I think we'll need a bigger house. The supra takes all my spare cash I have at the moment so I've decided to sell up to free up some much needed cash to say I'm gutted is an understatement, I'm holding back the tears while typing this. The car is is absolutly pristine condition. I've owned her for the last 18 months and have spared no expense. The car has covered 72000 miles, I'm the second owner in this country, the last owner brought the car in himself as a personal import. The car was MOT'd today and passed with flying colours. The guy even said, "its so clean underneath, it'd be a joy to get run over by it". I have documentation from japan relating to the car, including the service book, if you can undertsand japanese . I've just fitted a set of UK glass headlamps to it last week, (not shown in pics) and had a new engine mount fitted along with a full service. I also have stacks of reciepts for mainteneace since the cars been in the uk. The car has blended side skirts and rear spats, along with a TRD rear spoiler. 18" antera rims, (mint) It has a Kenwood mp3/cd player with a 10inch sub in the boot. I fitted infinity 3 ways in the rear pods last month. It has white indiglo dials (that change colour) and custom silver dash.
