  1. Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who is still supplying these.?
  2. I beleive it's one of our australian brothers who's stuck in a 2uz V8 TT engine EDIT - My bad, the car is in Florida.
  3. Another vouch for the Meguiars clay bar kit. I used it on my particularly tired Impreza and came up like a new car. Just make sure you fold the clay regularly, and if you drop it, DONT use it again. The meguiars kit comes with 2 clays.
  4. Sounds like it could be the heatsheild around the cats. Get the car either on a ramp or on stands, start it up, get underneath it and have a listen. If the noise stops when you hold your hand on the heatsheilds, theres your problem. Be careful if the car has had a chance to warm up. things will be pretty toasty under there EDIT - you boys are too fast for me
  5. Like Homer, I remember this when it first came to light. Apparently he was just driving along normally when the front hub/lower arm assembly just collapsed causing the accident.
  6. Either new or used, must be in good condition though. Not interested in the spats as I'm saving for a trial rear
  7. I'm sure I could be convinced
  8. It's a nice bumper, up there with the Ridox for sure.
  9. Did you find a place that does the bumper then?
  10. http://www.speedhut.com do the dials You need to specify in the comments that you have a right hand drive supra, or else the temp and fuel gauges will be the wrong way round
  11. Yup, picking it up Monday, Fraser should be happy with his new toy too
  12. Had to remove the vid, pootube has got a copyright filter program that can pull videos using music tracks Ahhh, photobucket works though
  13. Lol, twiddling thumbs in anticipation of getting back in a supra does not pass the time well. Making cheesy vids works wonders.
  14. Will do matey, hopefully traffic won't be too bad and I'll get back to London at a reasonable time. If so, I'll text you to see what you're up to.
  15. http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/jaxdanjo/?action=view&current=supratube3.flv As of Monday, I'll hopefully be back in a Supra :D I thought I'd celebrate my return with a little video I knocked up. Big hello to all the old faces that remember me from years ago Special hello to paul2supra, I hope you're looking after the old girl. I saw some pictures of her the other day and she still looks to be mint Yes, its Dat-inters car, and yes, I like the wheels
  16. I'll go up there if you lot manage to organise another one. I'll be on two wheels though. (don't worry, I'll wait for you )
  17. wow, blast from the past this thread
  18. Running costs for a s2000 will be much cheaper. The supe cost me a packet in petrol. The vice of having 3 litres and two turbos. The S2000's 2ltr is frugal in comparison. Insurance will also be cheaper. @ Big Red One, I hear what you're saying about the Gt4. they are nice cars, I've just never been taken by the shape of them. I'd have the mr2 tubby over the gt4. I'd love a DC5, but like you say, they are holding their money well.
  19. Which do people think is better, the dc2 integra, or the Civic type R ? What is the interior like on the integra?, I know the Civic has really nice seats and a stupid dash gear lever, but in all its pretty nice.
  20. Yo Surj, hows things matey? It'd be good to get back into the game again, feels like an age since I drove a decent car, (been rocking about in the wife's diesel A class for far too long). What do people think of the lew shape celica? the 190 edition one obviously with all the trimmings. There's a TRD one knocking around this way with a nice bodykit on it?
  21. Yup, good suggestion with the civic.
  22. I've had an Mr2 turbo. Nice car, but its hard to find a nice one now. Also had an FTO, probably one of the best cars to drive I've owned. The tip gearbox is brilliant fun in the lanes, its like have a sequential gearbox from a rally car. But like you say, its a bit slow.
  23. Hello chaps and chapesses, I'm after buying a new car at some point in the near future. I sold my supe about 6 months ago due to a new addition to my family and needed the money. I went out and bought a motorbike to tide me over until such time as I could afford another car. Within the next few months I'll need to get back onto 4 wheels for when the missus goes back to work. This'll mean another income coming in, which spares up some cash for me to blow on a new motor. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to sustain the running costs of a supra again, and I don't really won't to get one of a lower standard than I originally had because I'll probably end up being dissapointed with it. The other reason for not being able to get a supe is because, with the bike in the garage, there is no way a supe will fit in there with it . So, I'm after something like an s2000. I want to stay in the jap scene as I've been part of it for the last 3 cars I've owned. I still talk to the freinds I've made across all the clubs I've been a part of and so want to stay in the same circle of enthusiasts. So, my budget is around the £8000 mark. Suggest away.........
  24. May have been my old car, but not me anymore as shes got a new owner
