  1. This is a vid I made in 2007 at japshow. It's the only one of my vids that youtube hasn't removed due to copyright issues. I'm doing my best to get the pod day one I did re-hosted somewhere, but the nickleback track prevents it. Enjoy
  2. I had the same exhaust on my old car (paul2supra) auto TT with both cats in. Not noisey at all, just nice. Not like my BPU 6sp double decat mad bas!@rd with straight through 5zigen fireball exhaust. Edit - just realised how old this thread is
  3. Holy crap, this is some scary stuff. I really feel for all the parties involved. One bit of advice for the victims though, be very careful that your own actions in turn don't make you suspects. I hate to see genuine victims up in front of magistrates because of some serious red mist. Good luck to all.
  4. Not a bad price if you include the flywheel though.
  5. In my experience, Steves prices are near enough identical, or a little pricier than Pauls. Post on here when you've enquired, I'd be interested to see what his price is.

    Airbag?

If your airbag light was on, then I could see where they were coming from, my airbag light doesn't have a bulb behind it
  7. Yeah, no argument at all, I gave him Pauls number and he's getting a new one. I'll give you an example of how genuine he is, Supra Surj took his TT in there for some work, he accidently curbed one of his wheels. Instead of parking it up against a wall so the damage couldn't be seen like a lot of mechanics would have done. He contacted Surj straight away, told him what had happened, paid out for a brand new rim, and gave him the lightly damaged one as a spare.
  8. He's a top bloke and can't recommend him enough. Tech one toyota specialist in Sidcup. 02083020600
  9. Just got off the phone to my local friendly trusted mechanic. He's fitted my new clutch, changed the gearbox oil and diff oil, done some other bits and bobs. Then he tells me that when he went to re-fit the exhaust, he found a funny gasket with a smaller hole than the rest of the exhaust, I stopped him there and said, "you haven't left it out have you?" knowing that he's talking about the restrictor ring. He said he thought it was a bodge job so modified it by opening it up more. I've put him on to Mr Whiffen to get me a new one
  10. It'll certainly turn some heads at supra meets when you come 'whining' round the corner

    Airbag?

That's very cheeky. I think plod are wrong there for sure.
  12. Awesome mate, you're a brave man going down the charger route, it's certainly not the simplest.
  13. If they don't come with bulb holders, how are you supposed to secure the bulb?
  14. I bet that shiny black surface is a B'stard for fingerprints
  15. Voted yes, I did this on my old car (paul2supra's). It was a royal PITA to prep, and then getting the finish good was a mission. Sure, you can do it yourself with the halfords dash spray, but it'll never be as good as if Dave does it. With this, you also get to pick your colour, so it's a no brainer if you ask me. Another prime example of you getting what you pay for. Put me down on the list when you start doing it mate.
  16. G dammit, that lambo avalon car is stunning. Makes me want to re-spray mine.
  17. Thought I'd add too this thread with my relatively recent experience in getting calipers overhauled. My S2000 suffered with the typical well known sticky caliper problem after only 2 weeks of ownership. I contacted EDC on the recommendation of someone on the S2000 forum. For £350 they sent a courier out to me, picked the calipers up, overhauled them completely with new pistons, seals......etc etc. and then couriered them back in less than a week. You can also specify the colour you want them powder coated in, (the default one is blingy gold).
  18. subscribed for the inevitable awesomeness thats to come. Great work
  19. rev 3 and up Mr2 turbo mate, they'll ruin pretty much everything 0-60. Its about the most bang for your buck you can get in the price range you are looking at. the 3sgte engine is bullet proof too. I had a video on here of the supra pod day in 2007 where rogue motorsports had their mr2 tubby doing a few runs. I don't think it went up against a supra on here and lost. Sure, their mr2 is fettled with, but it just shows they are seriously underestimated by most.
  20. Pic1 - "Jamie, is that guy behind me playing with himself again?"
  21. Stick with it mate, you'll be dissapointed with anything else you change too. I know I was. Think of it like this, two of the biggest gripes on your supra have just been sorted, you can now cruise around with the piece of mind that the only thing worth worrying about is coming across another supra which takes the attention off yours for a second.
  22. Yup, bumper is still for sale. I'm in Sicup SE London.
  23. GET ANOTHER ONE SURJ!!! You know you want too.
