If you're on a budget, Falken 452's mate. For everyday use they're fine once scrubbed in. Be careful though, they're lethal when new.

It varies from place to place. Providing there are no major issues with seized bushes, I reckong between £100 - £200. yes, you should get a printout. As soon as they put it on the machine, they'll know whether there's something amiss.

I had an FTO years ago, tip gearbox is awesome, 8.9k redline V6 noise is awesome, looks awesome, (when lowered with some nice wheels). I'd hardly call it fast though. Read what you like into 0-60 times, but I think an N/A supe would kill it. As a cruiser and everyday car, brilliant. If you want road presence and wow factor, probably not.

You have an NA, so you have a distributor cap. You have jumped ahead in your diagnostics by looking into multiplug connections and continuity checks. you say you have no spark, so check the distributor cap, leads and rotor arm.

What exhaust system do you have.? Mine is a straight through with no silencers 5zigen fireball.

Hopefully it's not the discs knocking, it's the new pads you should have fitted. There is no way the disc itself could knock, unless you have done something very wrong.

Any idea why it varies so much from car to car.? mine has both decats and had a restrictor ring. Yet when I first picked her up, she would boost to nearly 1.3 bar. I've since turned the boost down on program A so it never boosts over 1.2. Program B is my safe wet weather 0.9.
